It's here!
Finally after many delays 0.2.25 RC is live for snorkelers!
This one took a massive amount of effort and we thank everyone for being patient!
A lot has happened behind the scenes this year and I'm glad we have this out the door so I can begin working on 0.2.26 RC!!! That one should go much, much smoother as I don't plan to redo a bunch of the game's logic to make future updates easier for myself.
Basically all old saves will break with this one at varying levels. So you'll either want to create a new save or use one of the provided saves. I think there are enough new scenes, polish and dialogue throughout to warrant a play-though starting on Day 1. I've included a save there if you don't want to replay the prologue.
You also might notice the filesize is much smaller which is odd since we have A LOT of new images present. Well we are running on lossless webp now rather than raw .png! Woo.
There will also be a separate experimental build in the coming days which will be testing out external save location, updated engine files and "cooked" assets. Might be placebo but I think performance was better in in the experimental build.
Ok, let's shell out the major highlights of 0.2.25 RC.

We now have a new Blacksmith job, albeit this one will be a little different! As with the snapshot you can also do the new General Store job.
Every existing job (and nearly every scene in the game) has also been touched up to some degree.
And you can finally turn in that damned package to Sophie!
There is a LOT of new art present. Considering the long development cycle of this version that shouldn't be too big a surprise.
New Dryad chibi sprite and new battle sprites for Cross, Garland, Kazuma.
The corruption system has been touched up a little bit as well as new scenes/interactions in the Cursed Realm... Go complete one of the curses!
Next up will by 0.2.26s-1 Snapshot which I'm going to tentatively call the Combat and Corruption update or CnC3: Tenebrium Wars. Wait...
I'll basically be doing a lot of work on the corruption system while we sneak out the first morsels of the combat update.
