Greetings!

0.2.24 RC


We are almost there!

I implemented some better controller support and interaction support. This prompts will dynamically change based on what device you have plugged in and what you have remapped your controls to be.


So far we've implemented the most popular controllers: DS4, DualSense (PS5) and Xbone/XB360.

If you have a favorite controller you'd like to have supported in the game head over to our discord and you can help us out in the #controller-support channel!

And now just some raid implementation left and a couple h-scenes to finish up.

2D Art


Here is a small taste at some recent artwork! Active supporters can see full WIPs from sketches to completion in the discord every few days. We also occasionally post [Art Update]'s here but if you want the latest head on over to #wip-art!


Maps


Several temporary maps have been added for 0.2.24 specifically for the new MSQ. Currently they consist of several smaller maps but I think in the future I'll want to combine a few of them into a larger map.

Nut also finished up the layout of an upcoming map, The City Guard HQ!

Combat


Not a big drop of information here this time. CD is currently having a battle of his own implementing some unique skill mechanics/effects into the game. We don't want to spoil too much but we'll share more once more is implemented.

We did add a combat log though!

Writing


I've started (picked back up) a program called Lore Forge. It is kind of like a personal wiki to help me organize all the important information about the world, characters and plot threads. All run locally too.

This will help immensely as the game progresses and help speed up my writing as I no longer will have to scour through a bunch of documents and composition books. Plus when additional writers are brought on their on-boarding will go a lot quicker.
