so true. tori is a HOT HEAD, no control over her anger. we can love someone and call them out on their bs/flaws. she's a bad girl from the wrong side of the tracks. its part of her charm and why she is relatable, but its not license for her to have no accountability for her behavior. she's cool and badass but she's also unhinged, mean, emotionally erratic, hood, and delusionally narcissistic "im always the victim and never the victimizer".......ok girl

Yea she COULD have done those things, lots of people can do lots of things better about how they conduct anything, she isnt literally perfect, but Tory literally almost maimed/killed her daughter for practically no reason. Most parents in america would have done far worse to her than just warn her not to harm their child again. In real life lots of parents might have gone full vigilante on Tory, let alone legally throw the book at her without warning, and the court of public opinion would 100% be on their side for doing it. People treat this situation differently because she's a photogenic TV show character. Every violent thug in America has her exact same story or worse and no one bats an eye, especially if they dont look like Tory.

Amanda definitely went easy on Tori, tons of Parents would do far worse to someone that almost maimed their child. If Tori did that to the wrong kid their parent might have literally shot her over it. Tori has a tragic homelife but people act like that gives her a free pass to be a violent thug, and then when Amanda retaliates admittedly somewhat spitefully but nonviolently and still relatively patiently that's somehow the worst thing in the world. Amanda did not even directly financially ruin Tori, Tori could have appologized if providing for her family was that improtant to her, her pride is insane.

Honestly I think Amanda went a little easy on Tory in that moment and her feeling sympathy for Tory losing her job was weird af. If a girl broke into my house and attacked my daughter, getting sent to juvie would be the least of their worries.

Because Amanda’s a grown woman and should know better, that’s not cool no matter what you’ve done, to completely ruin someone’s financial means? That’s the whole reason Amanda feels bad, because what she did was irresponsible and was not the best way to handle that situation. Everything in the show is an allegory for harassment, you have to look at everything from the angle of morality

#Sundayrundown I never understood why people blame Amanda for Tory getting fired. Everybody knows that when you work in customer service you have to be able to keep your cool. You're going to run into obnoxious customers and you have to be able to have a level head. Amanda wasn't even being obnoxious she was being a civil mama bear and all Tory had to do was agree to stay away from Sam and stop trying to murder her, but her pride wouldn't let her even though Amanda had the upper hand. This is another instance where it doesn't seem like Tory is putting her family first like her Stans claim she does. If she really cared about providing for her family she would've swallowed her pride and bowed down to Amanda so she wouldn't start any problems. But she didn't and she snapped at the customer and if anyone listened to what her manager said this is a recurring pattern of behavior so she was finally fired. We need to stop babying Tory when she be causing most of these problems herself.

Amanda could have easily filed a restraining order on Tori for Sam that lasted until the Tournament began which would be a legal record. I am in no way excusing Tori's actions but she is on probation and Amanda chose after hearing Sam out to not press charges. Boom done now just file a restraining order but instead she did what she did provoking Tori.

Amanda could have done all those things, it would have even been wise for her to do all these things. But Tori threatened to maim/kill Amanda's daughter, and then proceeded to break into and destroy her house along with her gang to attack Sam and her friends again after the first attack. Amanda acting spitefully here is beyond emotionally understandable. She's a regular woman, not a saint, people do wild things when their children are threatened and assulted. In real life lots of parents in America would do a lot worse to Tori, especially after going to the police and finding them to be unhelpful in a similar situation.

I doubt a judge would see it that way. I fully understand why people look at Tori's situation so symapthetically because it is an honest to god symapthetic situation, but the speed that people bury and ignore her truely barbaric actions against Sam because she has a tragic homelife is very strange to me. Having a tragic homelife isnt a free pass to to be a violent criminal. Almost every violent criminal ever has a tragic homelife or background.

If i was Tori and i was mentally unstable and dealing with so much stuff already, and then the mom of my arch enemy shows up to my work place and GETS ME FIRED, i'd go after Sam immediately. Amanda did not think this one through lol.

To answer Pat's question: parts of the story of Freeze is true. He and Nora are both still alive last time i checked but she was frozen to preserve her body as he looks for a cure. In the comics she was a ballerina not a business person. The rest is made up for the show. Great emotional episode.

Amanda committed extortion against a minor which is a felony. You do not have any right to use a crime as a way to influence another persons actions after the crime was committed. You are obligated to call the police. Something Amanda didn't do because as she said in the last episode it would "Hurt Their Business." She is basically blackmailing a teenager instead of calling the cops because she doesn't want to lose money. Another instance of the "good guys" being unscrupulous and the show writers didn't bat an eye at being thought of as hypocrisy.

#SundayRundown Amanda could have gone to the police with no threat of having Tori arrested just wanting information. They most likely would have refused giving out information but its another start. Amanda could have simply waited outside and not have sat at a table pointlessly looking at a menu starting drama inside a place of business like an evil villain. Amanda could have gone to a social worker or lawyer to also get some information on how to help or voice her concerns to Tori without getting her fired. Amanda is a grown woman threatening a teenage girl with ruining her future.

Gotta pay attention to the word choice. The boss said "I've had enough of your attitude " aka this wasnt the first time he had to deal with tori's aggressive side so....#teamnavi. Amanda didn't get her fired, Tori got herself fired cause she is not a slave so her CHOICES are on her not someone else. You control your emotions not other people unless you are a slave to them. But if you are free: you said what you said and you did what you did because YOU chose to.

Harley came to kill Freeze for a personal vendetta only to find out that she was completely wrong about him and his love devotion to his wife Nora. She really screwed that up for them both and just because Harley had a toxic relationship doesn't mean others do and Freeze & Nora really did had true love with each other.

#SundayRundown So I'm curious; out of the new generation, who do you think The Karate Kid is? Not looking for a solid answer, just your personal opinions. Also, you can tell by Amanda's expression that she knew what she did was wrong. I know that Tori has been horrible. And if this conversation had been happening last season, I'd be all for throwing her to the wolves. But this season, we've started to see a bit of a change in Tori. She's facing the consequences of her actions. But I genuinely believe that if you never give someone the opportunity to BE better, then they never will be.
