0.0.18 RC is now live for Snorkelers+

0.0.18 RC is now available to Snorkeler tier supporters and above!

0.0.18 focuses on our first leisure activity for Emma as well as her road to regaining her ability to fight with the help of Cassandra.

With the addition of the Cassandra scene we now have something to do each day for Days 1-6. For days 4-6 there is just one new event to do. After you complete it, go back to bed to progress to the next day.

We've also added a "generic" bathing scene that will be used should the player opt to take a bath when no new available bathing dialogue is available. As a quick reminder: The plan is for there to be various unique dialogues when taking a bath in her Inn Room once various conditions are met. None of these dialogues are required in any way and merely serve to give Emma some breathing room to digest all the crazy things happening in her life.

We've also now added a new tutorial system backend. This will make creating and displaying tutorials much easier with the added benefit of them also looking nicer than a standard textbox. This will be important for quickly explaining various systems in the game. Of course all tutorials will be viewable in the main menu as well. There is even an option for force disabling all tutorials in the options menu!

For now we've converted that super rough "Basic Controls" message into the new system. Keep in mind this is still a WIP and will be cleaned up with icons and pictures in future patches.

Unfortunately, the next combat draft didn't make it in this time as planned. As stated before we don't want combat to be super boring. Ideally, we want every encounter to feel special or at the very least we never want the player to feel the need to grind. Obviously, this makes designing combat and combat maps much harder. Especially true since neither of us are AAA expert combat system and scenario designers. So it's just taking more internal iterations to get it right.

There is a ton of story and CG content in the pipeline so we'll see what we accomplish for 0.x.19!
Specifically, we are working on two optional quests accessible during the prologue camp area and a new HCG for Emma.

Bugfixes and Other

Instances where silver is provided to (and taken from) the player should actually exchange silver now.
Sleeping in the bed will no longer skip multiple days and instead go to the next day once required events have been completed.
Changed Lorraine HCG scene to now be viewable starting on day 3 instead of day 2.
