I apologise for the overdue update. It's been a heavy week for all of us, it seems. My mother needed an MRI and also help with stuff for her wedding next month and Vahn's been occupied with important matters on his end.
In what time and focus I've had, I've been exploring the game's code myself in an effort to learn and eventually contribute. Which, to be honest, is a lot like being handed half of the Bible in Swahili then trying to finish the other half. If nothing else, I'd like to avoid being in the position where I don't fully understand how my own game works, but I can't imagine it'd do anything but behoove me to be able to help out with the code itself on occasion. I'm gradually gaining a firmer understanding of how it works, but as I've said before, there's a ton of code behind the simple little alpha. I can code, to a point, but the important thing is that anything I write has to respect the messaging and state systems already in place.
I loathe writing updates in which there's nothing really new to report, but as you guys have told me, it's better than radio silence. I hope you all are having a better time of it. Fingers crossed that 2016 can stop eating dick for ten minutes.
Edit: I nearly forgot: Happy thanksgiving to the American crowd. :)
