I thought the choice of prop books in the film was interesting. I believe the book of the dead pops up in a scene and the subway scene where he's reading Camus's "the stranger" help set the stage foe the film. I hadn't watched this movie until you recommended it in the silent hill podcast, I'm glad you guys did.

Although chiropractor dialogue was interesting, I couldn't say that it 'touched' me on any levels. But maybe that's a 'me problem', because no media ever (or almost never, but never on a big scale) did touch me or made me rethinking anything in my life. Anyway - after your part 1 of this series I'm blown away about how many things you found in that first fewteen minutes of the movie. Great job guys. I'm proud that I'm here on your Patreon (never had any incentive to join any other patreon membership ever). Can't wait for next chapters!
