Which made it significantly funnier. The couch laughed at mostly deleted scenes and called out original edit scenes as the out of place weird stuff that they thought was extra. This whole take that it's worse with more content is the dumbest shit ever.

I'm late to the poll, but I would definitely say the original edit is better for the first viewing!

I definitely agree with original edit for your first viewing. Like a lot of other people said, the pacing is weird and some of the storylines change in odd ways

This is my favourite show (also Fargo :) of all time and even so I don't like he super fan version. The jokes hit harder without all te extra less funny scenes. Also Andy's thing with the highschool student became way creepier because of the extended scenes lol.

I think something important not a lot of people have mentioned is how much the superfan changes the character. Like in the episode where andy is dating the high schooler andy finds out, calls her a bitch, and then leaves. So in the original, he just accidently dated a high schooler and immediately was repulsed by the idea and never considered doing it. In the super fan all of the scenes of him saying he loves her and still wants to be with her are all original scenes that make him look like so much more of an irredemable character. And I think that genuinely massively impacts how you watch the rest of the show.

Oh no I missed the vote! lol Still going to type my input here -- OG for me since as a Canadian I cannot watch the Super Fan episodes, but with the new blurred style I can deal with the Super Fan episodes since it's easier for me to sync up at least~

the superfan episodes are great if you've already seen the office. it's a lot of extra stuff that was cut for a reason. the original episodes are perfect for first time viewing.

The superfan episodes have some of the scenes that are normally in the "deleted scenes" extras on the DVDs for example, incorporated into the episode where they would have been if they weren't deleted scenes.

Superfan episodes have a lot of deleted scenes edited into the episode. The problem is that you can only watch them on Peacock which is only available in the US afaik.

superfan has deleted scenes edited in, and is on peacock. But as a canadain I cant get that lol so im forced to watch the edits, even tho for office I prefer full lengths

I'm in Europe, and let's just say that before I watched along via Amazon Prime but since you started watching the superfan episodes I "HAD" to illegaly download those episodes because Peacock isn't available in France.

I think I have to vote for the classic episodes here. I have peacock so once I realized you were doing superfan I was able to switch no problem, but much of the “extra” scenes have been kinda meh. Every so often there’s a good one, but most of them seem to have been cut for good reason. Regardless, I do have one suggestion that applies to either version: you’re about to hit a long line of two parter episodes, and I worry about a scenario where your watch schedule becomes finishing part 2 of one episode and then starting part 1 of the next episode every week. My suggestion/request would be to have someone look ahead a bit, and if you need to do a triple drop or even a single drop to make episodes balance out where you can watch parts 1 and 2 of an episode in the same week, I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one to appreciate that. But I will happily continue to watch no matter what. I love the show and I’m loving your reactions, and having an excuse to go back and rewatch this show again.
