Favorite or best “Re-release” of a classic videogame: In recent years we have seen many, re-releases, remasters, or re-makes of classic videogames. Either by selling these games with the classic Nintendo consoles, porting them to mobile or steam, or full remakes of classic games like Shadow of the Colossus and now Resident Evil. This is more common now, but it is not a new thing for gaming. There have been many past re-releases/ports of classic games with each new console generation. The first one I can think of off the top of my head was Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES back in 1993. Two questions: 1. What is your favorite (or some of your favorites) re-release of a classic videogame? And what about it makes it your favorite? (Mike, if it’s Chrono Trigger for DS… what is your second favorite? Lol) 2. What new or added features do you prioritize most when deciding to buy a re-released version of a classic game? a. Is it better presentation? (Better/new graphics or art, User Interface updates, better translation, better or new voice acting, remastered soundtrack, etc.) b. Is it quality of life updates? (Save anywhere options, faster loading times, Fast Forward features, skip cut scenes options, or quick healing/equipping, etc.) c. Is it additional gameplay content? (Extra missions or endgame dungeons, new characters, or new cut scenes. New leveling/progression systems (like FF12: Zodiac Age), etc.) d. Or maybe something else? Like the ability to own the game digitally or play on a portable system. Which of these improvements or features make you most excited about replaying an old classic on Steam or a modern console?

Octopath Traveler has only been out for a few days and already it seems to have connected with JRPG fans much more than I am Setsuna and Lost Spheare ever did. Do you guys think that this is just because of the pixelated aesthetic or is there something more that Tokyo RPG factory can learn from the Octopath team?

Since you guys are rebranding, how would you like us as viewers to "rebrand" our questions?
