Absolutely. That was pointed out multiple times, as opposed to dismissed in the case of people advocating for Vox ("It's all cartoon, why you mad, why you gatekeep"). At this point it was more about choosing the sensibly more "anime" influenced option in the leading shows in, let's remember, an anime poll.

Like I said, it's ok to vote for Vox, your reasons are your own. I do however want to point out that beyond which members of which fandom exhibited the poorest behavior, they'll likely react to Vox anyways and it was a questionable choice to attach it (after it lost the animation poll) to a selection of shows that it would obviously bury and take away one of the few opportunities they have to get attention on the channel. I agree that Vox quality has nothing to do with how dissimilar it is in methods, production, style and cultural idiosyncrasies to the rest of the list; deriding it just because of that is dumb. Still by all metrics it feels the most out of place in this poll. Imagine them saying they're doing a Telenovela poll, or a Nordic noir poll, and then ramming in House of Dragon (with all the exposure it has) after it lost let's say a fantasy poll, with the rational that "It's all serial drama, it's all live action, why you mad, why you gatekeep". It's so derisive and disingenuous, but in a way that appears deceptively not shitty nor toxic.

I'm hoping Vox pulls through because I think it would be a treat seeing The Normies reacting to a D&D show adaption, but I'm certain a reaction to either Vox or Castlevania will be wonderful so we've got some fun times ahead either way :D And let's remember while we're fans of different shows, we're all fans of The Normies so let's respect whatever choices they make with the poll and not lash out or attack them if your preferred show doesn't get picked up <3

we've got Vox fans in the comments and discord comparing the other shows to excrement (with more colorful language), but hey whatever narrative strike your fancy go for it. I'm pretty sure they are going to make time for Vox even if it loses again considering how much the channel's staff has been propping it up and the fandom been "bullying" them to watch it. everybody be toxic honestly, fandom be fandoming is all.
