On a personal note [from editor Hunter here] the last 2 years working on this series has felt like its own saga for myself. It marks my first big arc with the Normies. So it's bittersweet to not be working on this series every week anymore. But still, exciting!

The show does that part better but it's not worth dragging yourself through 50+ shitty episodes to get there when the movie kicks it out in 1.5hours.

2022-12-31 12:46:19 +0000 UTCbro we shouldnt have to go to light novels and extras for her to be a good character, like, even lovers of naruto like myself just have to admit the author doesnt knw wtf to do with women, he tries, but look at all of them, sacrifices, or useless. He was doing well with the medical ninjutus aswell as with tsunade but like even the male characters he put the to the side due to the immense gap between Naruto/ Sasuke, hell, naruto literally just loaned his chakra to people during the war, considering shes on the same team, and that the gap has always been so large it made sakura look like a joke - and add the usual "SASUKE" lines and that (in my opinion) bad scene telling Naruto she loves him, and the fact he'll have her say "I finally caught up to you guys" before immediately needing them to save her, It feels like its not even intentional, like the MHA issue the authors just forget to make them useful 98% of the time. Compare her to any female char in FMAB, or even One piece which somehow has 10x the Boobs and fanservice yet makes its female characters actually useful and capable.
