Chapter 24 - The Next Lead - Afterwords
Added 2020-06-20 02:13:38 +0000 UTCDragon Balls is basically the first manga I've ever read, and its early arcs were a huge homage to the Chinese classic Journey to the West. I thought it'd be cliched to do another reference to Journey to the West, but then I did it anyway.
The goal destination in Journey to the West is called Thunderclap Monastery, my first reaction was that it sounded way too cool for a mystical Buddhist monastery. So I made the goal destination in Foxtail echo that coolness too. Fogbreaker Monastery!
Digressing a little, reading Dragon Balls basically spoiled me as a kid, it reads so smoothly, cleanly and easily that I had a hard time reading any other manga because they didn't flow as smoothly as Dragon Balls did. Here's a video talking about that:

I want Foxtail to read as smoothly as Dragon Balls too. If I can achieve half the penmanship of the author of Dragon Balls, I'd die happy.
