I know these episodes are old but I seriously wish suraj would stop calling them fillers. These are official canon novels written by different writers approved by kishimoto that have been animated. Ugh, so annoying. This one is by Takashi Yano

2022-12-11 20:16:34 +0000 UTCThey did hint any Imo+Sai, though only briefly. When Sai was introduced to Imo at the BBQ place Ino said he was cute and that he reminded her of Sasuke. Sakura tried to get Sai to insult Imo, as he just did with her, but instead he called her beautiful. Him calling her that now is a callback.
