Glad you guys watched this. This is still one of my favorite Batman films. Not sure if you guys ever researched this, but there was a comic adaptation of the movie and Andrea and Joker escape into the sewers. She hesitates on killing him then one of the explosions allows Joker to escape and she accepts that her quest for vengeance was over.

Also second Mickey’s “best of” idea for this series. It’s kind of a recurring thing in BTAS for the villains to vanish or be presumed dead, only to come back down the road. Joker somehow got away from Andrea (like he always gets away), and came back to Gotham again. If you keep watching DCAU content, you will get some answers about Andrea/The Phantasm though!
