Yeah no I always compare Rebels to be for children or kids up to 14 yrs old compared to the overall mature theme of Clone Wars.

Yeah maybe im just very nostalgic about growing up with the clone wars, but a rebels reaction would be nice

@Elias H. While it has a lighter tone at times, the story is just as good and achieves even more emotional highs than The Clone Wars IMO.

To be fair with the animation, Disney gave the creators about half the budget of the first season of Clone Wars for season 1 of Rebels, so they had to make do with what they had.

rebels really was a letdown compared to clone wars. I feel like the characters, the story and even the animation are meant for children while clone wars can be enjoyed later on in life. Some moments in later season are nice though

so a couple of things, jedi can and do use the force to slightly alter shots heading for them, so while the troopers aim may have been right, the force will make the shot move certain directions, and second jedi can use the force to enhance their physical body, thats why they can make large jumps or fall from high heights

I really hope this entire couch watches Rebels, I’d be heartbroken if you didn’t. It’s absolutely essential to watch if you want the complete story- and some of the best moments- of some of your favorite characters and relationships from TCW

The Red Clone commander in this episode is Commander Fox, Palpatine's right hand clone and probably the most hated clone in Star Wars. He is almost the complete opposite of Rex in terms of ideology and personality, but you still have to give him props for not backing down to an angry Anakin.

Rebels is a more cohesive story than TCW. It's an absolute must for them to watch it. Idk if they need to binge it before Ahsoka, but it would totally help. They should just binge what they can when they can, it would be worth it, then release it weekly. Either way, whenever they get to Rebels, it will be an awesome reaction, I know it :)

@Alex Mills It might be a little tough depending on their schedule, but it's certainly not impossible. I'm assuming at this point with them recording ahead a little bit, that they have finished season 5 of Clone Wars. That would leave them with exactly 100 episodes of Clone Wars and Rebels to watch. Right now Ahsoka is expected to come out in July or August. That gives them about 30 to 35 weeks to get through 100 episodes, which averages to about 3 a week. They don't have to release them all by the time Ahsoka comes out, but if they are able to work their schedule in a way to do a couple binge recording sessions similar to what Blind Wave did when they were catching Rick and Calvin up before Mando season 2 came out, it's totally possible for them to get caught up.

TBF your comment is a bit of a spoiler in itself, but also, they don't need to get through all of Rebels before that series. But yes, Rebels has in my opinion, peaks that are just as high as Clone Wars, so it's well worth a watch.

The entire Ashoka show is sw rebels spoilers. I doubt they will get through 4 seasons of rebels before it comes out

So on the subject of watching Rebels, yes you should absolutely watch it. It is an integral part of Star Wars lore and the current live action shows like Mando and the upcoming Ahsoka series which is expected to come out in summer 2023. I assume you are going to watch the Ahsoka series when it comes out, so I would highly recommend if at all possible with your recording schedule to get through Rebels before Ahsoka releases as it will spoil Rebels for you.
