I disagree Gabriel, I don't like their pairing AT ALL and it's definitely not real, immature high school love - but it is from both sides ...he had baby feelings 2x1 and when she was in a coma is realized he "loved" her, and not platonically imo

Although I do agree that Xander was triggered to look at willow 'with new eyes' because Oz did, I dont think he is doing anything intentionally to take advantage of anyone. I think he is unfortunately a 17 yo emotionally immature male who cant differentiate his attraction to everyone (at this age) from his genuine but very different emotional connections with the 3 female friends in his life. Is it harmful? Yes. Intentional, idk.

Why were you blaming Buffy for Scott breaking up with her? Being distracted is not a reason, it’s an excuse. It was clear that he didn’t want to go with her to the dance, and the fact that he shows up a few days later with another girl tells me that that’s was his intention all along. Team Buffy all the way. Team Buffy also for the feud with Cordelia, even before Buffy explained why it was important to her. Cordelia was out of line with her remarks about having both parents.

Thank you, Xander had moments in season 2 when he thought about seeing Willow that way but it never happened until now

I'm not the biggest fan of Xander either, but I do think there was some tension before. Especially in 2x01 before Buffy returned. It's just that Xander is always after Buffy or Cordelia so when it's right in front of his eyes (like with Oz) he gets stupid real fast lmao

There was NEVER a tension between them, only Willow had a crush on Xander, and he always knew that but ignored her UNTIL she got a boyfriend, then he started to see her as a woman! Because for once in her life she was not crawling over him, she has someone that really likes her. So instead of being happy for her, what does he do? Yeah! Take advantage of her old crush and kiss her. Nor Willow, Cordelia or Ozz deserve this.... I really hate Xander hahaha
