We just wanted to share a quick video announcement with everyone about some soon to come changes & new additions to the release schedule here on Patreon!
2022 has been a weird year. It's been a year that allowed us to experiment and learn. We are excited to enter the window of opportunity 2023 offers, and we want you to be a part of the change that is to come.
Please understand that with our ongoing reaction schedule and other commitments, we won't be able to fully implement many of the decisions we're making right now (with your support and feedback) until early 2023.
We hope this video announcement helps clarify some of our decisions and recent poll activity, and that you're excited to reap all the benefits of being a Normies patron! <3

With an increasing crew/family in front of and behind the camera, there are bound to be growing pains and an influx of ideas in regards to which direction is best to take the channel. ALL OF THIS IS GOOD! Of course, you addressing these changes now, and explaining your previous mindset before laying out how you feel patreon could be better incentivized is also wonderful. More of this communication please, always! No matter what shows are covered or regardless of changes, I think most of us patrons are here for you guys because you’re interesting and entertaining as individuals and endearing as a family, and we’re happy you’ll keep doing things to try to appease us.

How about a retro review of something old like Deadwood one if the best series on Hbo that was shown before all the big ones like GoT and Westworld. Maybe some shorter anime stuff would be nice too. No matter what you do i will be watching The Normies.

Now my only critique is that you guys seem to want to make yourselves miserable with another filler and recap filled, stupidly long shounen series :) There are so many amazing shows out there you could watch in that same time frame. You could have more polls, which always seem to drive engagement. Plus you guys will have way more fun with it.

Agents of shield season 1 was when I first signed up for this Patreon and this year by far felt the weirdest on here. Picking up euphoria late in the year kept me here after whateva the hell went on with the attack on titan reactions in the summer. The entire comment section was pissed for like 3 months straight

It's the only show I watch here and I would have never ever found this place had they not done that. I'm sure I'm not even close to the only one who has a story like this. It doesn't matter what's on here if people aren't finding it, and in the end it's not like the Patreon really suffered at all throughout 2022 anyway so it's ultimately moot. It's not like this place was abandoned by any means. Growth is hard (that's what she said) and you have to try things.

2022-11-18 15:22:05 +0000 UTCI know that. By making Patreon better, you retain more patrons per month and make more people who are already subscribed on YouTube want to join Patreon. If you focus on YouTube growth, you will see more numbers on the YouTube video, true. But without focusing on Patreon, those new viewers won't sign up for Patreon and turn into cash in the bank(not for reaction channels that get shafted by YouTube's copyright system.) So, effort into patreon has a higher conversion into profit than the effort you can put into youtube. Meaning, if you focus on Patreon, then you keep those who have already signed up and have a chance to convince the YouTube viewers you naturally get. And given that is what they are doing, I think they'd agree with me.
