There's nothing wrong with Suraj giving them confirmation to something that seemed almost obvious to them immediately. I also think it's good when he shoots down blatantly stupid theories that literally just don't even make sense, and he doesn't even do it as often as he should, tbh. Like when somebody blurted out that Eren's dad was going to be behind the door in the basement, when we clearly know at this point that he's been dead since the first few episodes.

2022-11-01 21:52:50 +0000 UTCWhy would they need to piece together anything on their own if they have Suraj to do it for them? I was a fan of Suraj before, but these last few episodes have been hard to watch with him just being so quick with corrections, shooting down bad theories, and straight up hinting at stuff. Everything seems obvious and not a spoiler in retrospect (esp because the clues are there), but dude doesn't even give his friends time to process the many big revelations of this episode before throwing Nazi Germany out there. Like, it's one thing if you're watching for the first time and you see the resemblance, but if someone who you know has watched the show brings it up, it puts credence in that theory and makes it seem important. The show makes the parallels obvious in the next episode. Either let your friends theorize and see if they noticed and can put it all together or if you don't put faith in your friends intelligence, then let them find out themselves next episode.
