I remember when the Obito reveal first happened... It felt so badass then, and I loved that twist, but I feel like Obito as a story element was just drawn out way too long for me to be really emotional about it when he finally died. He's got to have more repeated flashbacks than any other character, I swear. I honestly feel like it would have landed a little better if he had died way back when he split with Madara, in that moment right after he'd first been redeemed, brought over to our side.

(Kakashi was also always known for being late as a sensei because he was always spending time at Obito and Rin's memorial stone. And probably as a way to pay homage to Obito. I like that this is something that's just subtly in the show this whole time but not emphasized, you just have to remember to think about it and be like "oh yeeeaaaahh" lol)
