honestly this show is the closest ive seen a show reveal what depression is truly like. ive had depression since i was in middle school and it is a heavy constant feeling of numbness and sadness. then the physical side effects as well. this is why this show stands out for me. showing the true fcking raw horror of mental illness.

2022-09-07 07:27:10 +0000 UTCrue in this episode hits so close to home. im bipolar as well and i could relate to every single thing she said about depression. its very accurate imo, including the part about not being able to go to the bathroom. it seems stupid from an outside perspective, but that and not being able to take care of yourself in general are common symptoms of severe depression.
