It was also mention in the same episode that Miya atsumu can use a jump float serve and a spike serve. The crowd only booed him because he made a weak play(still sucks to get booed like that lol), he did not try to score resulting in an easy point for Karasuno. The same thing happened to yamaguchi in season 2 when he did not do a jump floater and just giving them the opportunity to score a point and coach Ukai got pissed and was going to yell at him. The pinch serve is there to score points with their serve or at least disrupt their defense so they won’t get a free hit. That’s why the didn’t boo the twin brother because the crowd could tell he went all out and wanted to score a point. While Riseki lost before even hitting the serve because of his trauma in middle school. Fun fact: Riseki is the only first year for Inarizaki you’ve seen so far to play in this match.
