2022-07-17 11:04:18 +0000 UTCMicky, yes. Sonic Adventure AND Sonic Adventure 2 are on GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation whatever, and STEAM for PC. Though the ports have some bugs compared to the origins. lol Also, in the games, the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald are separate. It's basically a checks and balances system. The servers are the seven chaos. Chaos is power enriched by the heart. The controller serves to unify the chaos. In the games, Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald and when Eggman crash lands on Angel Island, he tricks Knuckles into believing Sonic stole the emeralds from him, causing him to crash land there and that Sonic is after the Master Emerald. Knuckles punches the super out of Sonic when they meet and knocks the emeralds out of him and scatters them. Upon their showdown, Eggman steals the Master Emerald but Sonic gets it back and returns it to Knuckles.

2022-07-17 11:04:06 +0000 UTCHere's the story of SONIC ADVENTURE 2 in short (well... short-ish). (The third movie will definitely use this as as reference but it will not be the exact same story. They are also going to use the game "SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG" as reference points, which takes place later in series.) INTRO -Eggman discovers a top secret weapon created by his grandfather, Professor Gerald Robotnik, hidden by the military (out of fear). The weapon is Shadow, "the ultimate lifeform", who has his own plans for revenge. SETUP -Shadow is mistaken for Sonic by the media and the military goes after Sonic. Sonic encounters Shadow but is caught when distracted by seeing Shadow teleport with an emerald. (This is called Chaos Control). SETUP 2 -Rouge the bat is a double agent, contracted by the president to observe Eggman, but she's otherwise a treasure hunter/jewel thief who tries to steal the Master Emerald. BALL ROLLING -Shadow, Rouge and Eggman use the chaos emeralds to power a weapon of mass destruction, the Eclipse Cannon, hidden on a secret Space Colony, the ARK, where Shadow was created 50 years ago. They use this to threaten the planet into submission as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy track them down and confront them on the ARK. BIG REVEALS -Once all 7 emeralds were connected to the cannon, a secret backup mechanism activates, which causes the ARK to go on a collision course to Earth. This plan was put into place by Gerald Robotnik. Why? 50 years ago, the government wanted him to experiment on immortality for military purposes, which he declined until he figured he might find a cure for his ill grand daughter, Maria. However, the military feared the products of his endeavors leading up to Shadow. Gerald escaped before they raided the ARK and learned the military claimed there was an "accident" leading to almost everyone's deaths. Among the names of those who died was Maria, who was shot for aiding Shadow's escape. Gerald went insane, formed this plan, turned himself in and was executed via firing squad (which was filmed and played as the ARK rushed towards the planet.) CLIMAX -Amy Rose finds Shadow and convinces him that there's still a reason to give people a chance to be happy, and let them live for their dreams. This leads to a clear flashback of Maria's identical wish to him before dying. He joins the others to help, Knuckles uses the master emerald to stop the chaos emeralds, which stops the ARK. But the prototype of the ultimate lifeform, a giant lizard, appears and starts pulling the ARK to Earth. Super Sonic and Super Shadow fight the lizard in the last moments left to save the world, and use Chaos Control to send the ARK back into orbit. Then Shadow runs out of power and (seemingly) falls to his death. Rather, he disappears. You think that's kinda heavy.... Maria was 12 years old. Re-read the part about her story again. lol
