2022-06-30 16:27:55 +0000 UTCTo correct Suraj, "Eskimo" and "Inuit" are not interchangeable, because "Eskimo" refers to multiple groups of indigenous peoples, the two largest being the Inuit and Yupik (Yupik peoples are definitely offended when called Inuit). The term "Eskimo" is still appropriate in certain contexts, but the way most people tend to use it has turned it into a pejorative.
