This was one of the ideas to limit contact/ social distancing requirements. Lucifer was one of the first shows to go back into production. If you look closely throughout the season, camera techniques are used to make the actors look closer together than they actually are. If u ever get the chance you can go and see their instagrams etc- everything they did just to bring us this season. I believe it was the first Netflix series to actually release their new season- during Covid
