He thought of her as a tool because she offered herself as a tool and even then initially only because she threatened him otherwise. A better example would be his family, who at one point he did love.

Light loses himself to the power and becomes a psychopathic murder, Lelouch does enjoy some of the killing too but Lelouch does still have feelings and feels remorse for what he does, but believes he is doing the right thing in the overall picture. Aka Light has lost his humanity and Lelouch is hiding his humanity `for the results.

If you need more convincing, just reach out to blind wave. I know y'all are pretty tight with them. Even Rick of all people fell in love with Gurren Lagann. An that guy is barely ever impressed by anything.

2022-06-15 23:29:58 +0000 UTCI second the motion for you guys to watch Guren Laagan. The differnce between strategy and tactics is scale (Macro vs Micro). With strategy think broad strokes to win (secure this piece of land, have this alliance, expose the enemy in this way, etc). Tactics is the specific steps to achieve those ends (largley thought of in terms of "how" and "when") like using a certain battle formation, firing certain munitons at a specific time/place, destroying infrastructure to somehow delay the enemy. In a context like this the they usually are implying that they expect the enemy to be ignoring one end or the other either overlooking the macro plan and having no follow through, or missing a specific detail that renders the rest of the macro plan impossible.
