Hallo everynyan! Happy Cherry Crush Friday! ^_^;;;;;

Welp.. I feel like we all saw dis coming, i mean i did, most of the time when cherie and crush fight the fight last forever ddsjkfnaskj and i don't want any stones unturned, it's a pretty awful situation but i hope we can both see where they come from. I know people are hating cherie a lot rn and i dont blame them i do write pretty flawed characters, i don't think anyone in my webtoon is a good person, each of them is compromised in their own ways, most people in real life are, even a protagonist like Cherie who's super strong in their convictions would be compromised if the conditions line up, everyone's got a line they won't cross and for Cherie that line is hurting Crush, but he ended up doing that anyways by reinforcing that line..

I think as I learned more about doing comics and writing conflicts is that I have to not be so precious about my characters, of course I still want ppl to like them and I still want ppl to root for them but if I bend the story around them to make them the good guy all the time then that's just super dishonest framing... I like writing stories where there are consequences for everything and of course Cherie's lies must also have consequences.. and the consequence is everything exploding tbh. BUT I SWEAR IT'LL BE OKAY I SWEAR I HATE SAD ENDINGS MORE THAN ANYTHING, i always just feel like this season's better of being binged than waiting weekly for this bc it genuinely feel like i'm torturing u guys I SWEAR I'M NOT DOING THIS BC I WANT TO, if i wake up tomorrow and write them just going on about their days and being lovey dovey again then that's just super dishonest right...? like people don't just go back to the way they were after a huge fight like this, i want to write cherie crush actually engaging with their problems and be honest with each other, i hate miscommunication tropes more than anything like so much issues i see in romance comics where it'd just be solved if they had just talked it out, i want to write issues where actually talking it out doesn't solve anything and this fight was one of it, there's a reason why the fight is lasting 3 episodes long bc they have to say everything they want before they realize there really isn't a solution, but the truth comes out and they must both reconcile with it..

Anyways thats all the yap today.. i just love writing cherry crush a lot can't you tell.. i love writing drama and fights and it's always so cathartic when the emotional truth comes out but nothing's getting resolved cleanly, bc to me relationships aren't clean.. and cherie crush's relationship is far from clean so.. things will have to blow up for now before it gets better AND I PROMISE IT'LL GET BETTER...
