"i cant see the slayer, there is darkness around her" "i can sense his power from outside" "the stars are almost aligned".....probably the most powerfully shown vampire in the series. with the annointed one and the master it was all talk, we didnt see any vampire magic or anything other vampires could do. but dru is different!

2022-06-09 23:25:48 +0000 UTCthere is a reason for that. the annointed one was originally going to be the big bad for season 2 but because of him "growing quickly" because he was a kid, whedon axed that idea which is super silly for me. its just one season, kill him at the end like you did the master in season 1, no reason to worry about him growing. especially when he's always sitting. i would have loved to have seen his powers and what they would have done with him. maybe in a comic one day

2022-06-09 16:56:53 +0000 UTCThe Anointed One was actually originally meant to play a bigger role, I believe, but the kid playing him had a big growth spurt, which is of course is not believable if he's playing a child vampire. That's why you mostly see him sitting down these past 3 episodes... Also, I think the "...I smell the blood of a nice, ripe girl" was an indication that Buffy was on her time of the month. Notice Xander was in her purse to grab a stake and pulls out a tampon. So, yeah lol...
