2022-05-02 16:55:32 +0000 UTC@Shmengels Star Wars does one of the worst jobs of highlighting nuanced degrees of goodness and evil among it's peers and franchises like "Babylon 5" and "Star Trek" do a way better job with the light vs. dark themes. Star Wars is still very much in the realm of fantasy in that morality is determined by nature and not the human condition; which makes for little nuance in the story telling.

Pretending like they're a necessary nuance to the universe when it already does a decent job at highlighting nuanced degrees of goodness and evil within the Jedi and the Sith. We don't need that third arbitrary category which actually boxes factions in more than makes them nuanced.
