2022-04-28 13:38:30 +0000 UTCAfter a quick check it actually looks like Moloch is often used as a metaphor for sacrifice to progress or machines, so Buffy was on point there even if they removed the more specific child sacrifice from being mentioned (could still be assumed since here Moloch seems to largely lure younger, easily influenced minds)

2022-04-21 22:22:31 +0000 UTCI remember slogging through these Season 1 episodes, not really being convinced that this show was all it was cracked up to be, but the next episode (The Puppet Show) is where I really started to buy into the show so I'm excited to see their reaction to that one. I think from there the rest of Season 1 is pretty good and of course Seasons 2 and 3 are fantastic.
