Well even if Suzaku got Japan, they would still be under Britannian rule, he would just be governing over it so I think the racism would still be there. He’s allowed to do with it what he wants but I don’t think the emperor would just give up a conquered area completely knight of the round or not. Also in order for Suzaku to have Japan he will have to carry out missions to conquer other nations for Britannia. Lelouch in comparison will not compromise at all with Britannia, though no one knows his selfish reasons for going to war with Britannia the ultimate goal is freedom anyway for Japan (something he also wants so that Nunnally will have a safe place to stay). So idk lol I feel like the hate for Suzaku is kinda valid. Maybe. Up to you. Lol

2022-08-03 15:06:59 +0000 UTCI don't understand the hate for Suzaku. He's changed but his ultimate goal is still the same. He still wants to save Japan and is trying to gain power and influence within the system to do it. He's just become more ruthless and more willing to do anything for that goal, hence why he's becoming closer to the emperor. He knows how this makes Lelouch feel. On one hand I feel like he's capable of doing it cos his will and desperation has become stronger, but he's also still spiteful and feels betrayed by Lelouch for his role as Zero and as the manipulator/murderer of Euphy. He's essentially becoming more like Lelouch than anyone realizes and he's still the hated one lol.

2022-04-30 01:25:11 +0000 UTCI’m surprised that Chris, Rana and Mickey haven’t noticed how many characters in the dub share their voice actors with Naruto. (I.e. Jeremiah is Itachi, Lloyd is Gaara, Suzaku is Sasuke and C2 is Sakura. Also the new blonde guy who was with Suzaku is Kakashi.) it’s not really relevant but cool to notice all the same 👍🏽

2022-04-27 09:39:34 +0000 UTCDefinitely. Fan service for every demographic. Almost every male character is a pretty boy for fan service too. Lelouch has a huge female fandom for a reason. Well that and gay guys. Do a search for Code Geass merch on eBay, you’ll stumble upon some lewd Suzaku/Lelouch stuff that’s way more explicit than anything that has appeared on the show lol

2022-04-22 04:43:03 +0000 UTCJust a friendly reminder Code Geass is an original anime series by Sunrise animation studio with original character designs by the all-female Japanese manga artist group Clamp. Think it's worth keeping in mind when you see all this fanservice. It ain't just men getting thirsty, out there!

2022-04-22 01:12:36 +0000 UTCJohnny Young Bosch, supreme voice acting as Lelouch and the dialogue in the dub is just fantastic. There's a sort of elegance in the way things are said and sometimes just ruthless af lol

2022-04-21 22:57:13 +0000 UTCAnd, to be fair, the Four Holy Swords get almost. No characterization to differentiate them in Season 1. Most of their relevance comes this season.

2022-04-21 17:28:19 +0000 UTCIn the original Japanese/Sub - the Emperor said "HE'S worthy of being my child now" during Euphies massacre. He's known about Zero/Lelouch pretty much since day 1. The dub changed it to "YOURE worthy of being my child now" to vague it up for future reveals

2022-04-21 07:54:29 +0000 UTCUrabe isn't a new character; he is a part of the four holy swords who serve under Todoh.

2022-04-21 01:24:33 +0000 UTCNo, Suzaku never loses sight of his goal throughout the entire series. He just become more cold and closed away since Euphy’s death and find out Lelouch is Zero.

2022-04-20 23:18:04 +0000 UTCSuzaku was not doing any of this for the purpose of bettering Brittania from within. This was an emotional act, lashing out against Lelouch for what happened to Euphy. Suzaku continues to make noble excuses for shitty things he does to protect his own ego. He has brought no tangible change to his home-nation of Japan whatsoever even after becoming a Knight of the Round nor has he done anything to improve the xenophobia of the Brittanians. He was rewarded for the deed of betraying his friend and he alone enjoys the fruits of that reward. If he wasn't a hypocrite, he would've executed Lelouch on the spot as what the Brittanian law would've called for the main rebel leader. Instead, he used Lelouch to achieve a higher position. He even allowed and continued to allow the manipulation of not only Lelouch but his friends from Ashford. How is this not hypocritical of someone who claims to walk the straight and narrow to achieve the betterment of what? In fact, what is he even doing at this point other than being an emotional wreck from the loss of his lover? His excuse to "better Brittania from within" is a childish cover. It is unrealistic and makes absolutely no sense. He just making shit up to protect his ego.

2022-04-20 22:59:42 +0000 UTCI agree with Joel on this one. This is the first time I think Suzaku is actually making progress. Previously all he had were empty ideals and a death wish, but now even if his goal is still super unrealistic, there's at least a possibility for him to make change now with this position.

2022-04-20 22:24:41 +0000 UTCHe's not really being a hypocrit though? Quite the opposite actually. While allying with the Emporer is a ridiculous risk to be taking, this is kinda the first time that he is actually taking steps to achieve his stated goal of changing Britania from within instead of just getting really lucky. With Euphinia's death he most likely would have lost his status as a knight, but by leveraging the capture of Zero he has risen to far greater power and influence to actually bring about change. Now I would just hope he has some kind of contingency plans for the Emporer trying to brain rape him.

2022-04-20 21:55:33 +0000 UTCSuzaku lost it because Lelouch killed Euphy. Suzaku is a big hypocrite and a self-serving asshole who keeps hiding in the guise that he's the ultimate do gooder.

2022-04-20 18:58:40 +0000 UTCY'all need to do a poll on who's the most hated character at this point: Suzaku or Nina. Personally I hate Suzaku the most because he's being the biggest hypocrite right now.

2022-04-20 18:30:11 +0000 UTCThey're all age 18 at this point in the show now. Most of them at least.

2022-04-20 17:05:36 +0000 UTCI think are are all 18 in the 2nd season. Maybe 19 because they had to repeat a year or something.
