For me it's a matter of practicality. For the most part people are watching The Normies reactions on the phone and on their computer and it's extremely difficult to see the subs. I'm also not a fan of reaction channels with two or more people reacting in sub because people have different speeds at which they read and sometimes there's things people miss in anime especially when multiple characters are talking at the same time. I also feel subs take away from the reaction because reactors are focusing on another thing they don't have to in dubs and in my opinion the conversations don't flow as smooth as they do with dubbed media. Regardless if the dub is bad or not, I will always vote for dubbed reactions because of this factor and rarely watch The Normies reactions to sub anime because of it.

It's better for reactions since the subtitles aren't always on screen. Also, I feel like the idea that dubs are bad is outdated at this point. A lot more money and care goes into localizing shows these days, and if the Japanese dub for MHA or Dr Stone is better than the English, I don't speak Japanese well enough to know. That said, there are still some shows that just don't have good dubs.

Yes I would admit there are a rare few dubs that are better, for example i think the full metal alchemist dub is actually better than the sub, but that's one of the few i can think of older shows like dbz and yu yu hakusho are good dubs as well but that's from an era when more recourses were put into them as anime was new to the west. with naruto coming to an end and talks of one piece or bleach. i honestly think there getting an inferior experience watching those shows dubbed(especially one piece)

Some dub voices and performances are better imo but only some, I feel that there are a lot of dubs that people proclaim as bad that are just as good as the sub maybe one notch below and yes I'd prefer listening to something in my own language to help me better understand what I'm watching

Honestly, it's about practicality. I don't care what they choose to watch in their own time, but if I'm watching a reaction, I'm trying to focus on them, not the program, but still keep track of where they're at in the video. It's a lot more difficult to focus on the reactors when I have to keep looking down at the screen to see which scene we're on.

genuine question, do most o you who want dub reactions for the anime they watch truly believe that the dubs are a higher quality and done better, or is it just because u understand English and want to view it in a language u understand. im someone who almost never watches a dub because there almost always lower in quality. that doesnt mean i think they shouldn't exist or people shouldn't watch them by all means enjoy yourself. i just dont see how someone can think there objectively better. would love opinions.

I'd like to see more reactions to Western animation and anime films. I've enjoyed the live action films you've reacted to, but there's tons of animated films that I feel have been missed out on. Quite a while back ya'll did a survey/poll of which anime films you should watch, but I don't recall many beyond "Your Name" and "A Silent Voice"? But yeah, my vote is for more animated films of different genres and origin!
