Because we pretty much know Chloe's character after all this time, I think this instance is one of those, "Trying to be nice or say it in a nice way to not make someone feel bad" times. Instead of saying "It's mine now." She refers to it as 'ours' to show she respects where it came from and her belief that his loss of it won't last forever.
