Cad Bane CG! What are your thoughts?

The CGI looks fine, it just doesn't look like Cad Bane's face. I looks like some much younger Duros dressed up like Cad Bane.

Seeing as he only lasted a couple of eps i feel like they could've done more with cgi seeing as it wouldn't have had to be for very long. As for his character arc i think it was a very fitting end, dying at the hands of boba, assuming he is dead, as his heartbeat monitor never stopped in that scene. But over all i enjoyed it and think they did a great job and im sure even people who dont know cad surely liked him.

The cg might work better if we saw him when he was younger in live action but it definitely is not realistic for how old is he in book of boba. He looked incredible to me

The cartoon lacks all the elements that make real life materials. Subsurface scattering, specular, roughness. The Live action version is a much better interpretation of a grounded in reality look of the character.

He looks great. Obviously you can use cgi to enhance it into the cartoon, but I was blown away that they went full prosthetics. I don’t care if it’s not exactly the same, clone wars is pretty stylized anyways.

I didn’t really have an issue with live-action Bane because it is super difficult to translate that animation towards actually prosthetics people would wear

Pretty good. The prominent teeth were a good enhancement I think. I wanted a bigger hat, but probably didn't work in life action. The mouth could have been a bit lower. But no problem with the color.

I’m saying this as someone who hasn’t watched Clone Wars… When he showed up I was like “Woah who’s this sinister badass? He’s scary and looks menacing af”. Then seeing other people recreate his appearance to “improve” it and I gotta say I liked the show version better.

I think both designs fit their respective shows. In animation he looks campier which makes sense because it’s a cartoon and in live action he looks more grounded and honestly pretty terrifying and that fits the tone of the live action Star Wars shows very well.

I think he looks perfectly fine in Book of Boba Fett. Also he's in his 70's so maybe his species gets more pale with age and that's why he's not as blue.

t I feel like they're testing the blue paint for a different character they name-dropped in Mandalorian Season 2... a good effort, but it could've been better.

I personally did not have a problem of Cad Bane except for how the last episode ended... I was really hyped for him until that moment. As far as his looks, to me It looked just as badass even though most people would probably disagree. But that's just MY opinion.

Looked pretty good for live action. I would've liked the blue to be a shade or 2 darker but he looked really creepy and intimidating, exactly how he should

He looked right to me, i did notice he wasn't that blue but then i remembered he's way older now so who knows? maybe instead of white hair they get paler XD

Yes he looked fine to me he’s not going to look the same as he was in clone wars because he is over 75 years old at this point.
