I try to find real world examples similar to what's happening in said show/book/film/whatever to help me better understand what is happening, or how the characters are feeling. Definitely much harder to do in group settings though where the experience feels less personal. Not sure if i properly articulated my thoughts correctly just now. Typing this in a hurry atm. 2022-02-14 23:36:39 +0000 UTCOn everyone dying in the district, it was shown that Tengen's wives evacuated the district during the battle a couple episodes back and I think Tanjiro comments on it again this episode when they're going through the wreckage. Interestingly enough, the actual historical entertainment district also burned down during the Taisho period, where Demon Slayer is set in the Great Fire of Meireki of 1657 so we can kinda tie down when this was supposed to be set.
