I saw something that I think makes sense as an explanation. Shes very suspicious at Armin's words, and if what he said is true, then it means that he's siding with them, but for the wrong reason

All I’m gonna say as a manga reader, is they nailed Yelena’s face to Armin and the scene of her admiring the exploding blimps. Iconic panels done beautifully in the anime.

her face caught me so off guard and legitimately disturbed me. I seriously can't stand yelena and her poor terrible mission destroying attempts at impersonating a marley soldier. i think she hates armin purely because armin and eren were old besties. she's just bananas

I always assumed it's because she sees through Armin's bullshit. Throughout the show, Armin has managed to come in clutch in different scenarios by lying to his enemies and tricking them (yelling that the Female titan crushed Eren in S1 to make her pause and keep her from killing Jean, telling Reiner and Berthold that they're abandoning Annie while she's being tortured in S2 which gives an opening for Erwin to cut Eren loose, etc). She sees that he's trying to garner her favor by appearing as if he's been converted to the Jeagerists, gives him that "don't you fucking dare try to pass one on me" look, but also recognizes that they actually are there to help Eren regardless of their reasons and allows them to go ahead.

Her face said nothing good mahout 2022 or her future involvement in the series….I’m saying what kept Mikasa from killing that crazy Zeke zealot (not a pure Jaegerist) right there ? To me it feels like she's deciding in her head whether or not their being truthful and she's deciding whether or not to kill them then she realizes oh shit we got an Ackerman and the colossal titan here with 2 other scouts who finished in the top 10 in evens class. I'm guessing she's gauging whatever or not Armin was telling the truth about wanting to help Eren. Followed by a 'You better watch out, if you're planning on going going against Eren. I won't hesitate to kill you' kind of face.
