2022-01-11 20:24:19 +0000 UTCIn indoor volleyball, if a member of your team touches the ball while blocking, that touch does NOT count toward the three hits your team can make for that volley. In beach volleyball, the rule is different - a block touch DOES count toward your team's three hits. Since we're playing indoor volleyball, our team is allowed to touch the ball on a block, then also touch it three times to return it to the other side. HOWEVER, if you touch the ball while blocking and then it goes out of bounds, it will ALWAYS be the other team's point, regardless of whether you're playing indoor or beach volleyball.
