The fact Madara only began to 'try' (I say it like that because it's not even close to full strength, to be fair) after Temari landed a hit on him gives me chills for some reason . I really wish we got more from her as a character, but of course she was somewhat forgotten up until Boruto :(

Just to clear up, Kabuto doesn't actually know what Madara was like in his Prime. And a reminder also, Reanimations have Infinite Chakra in terms of replenishment and regeneration (they can zero out and get an instant replenish). Not actual Infinite Chakra lol

after hearing Madara send two asteroids to attack the army she didn't think twice to go fight Madara she wanted all the smoke while the Raikage was sitting silently. Such an amazing and chilling scene

There is only 1 Rinnegan. Madera is reanimated so he has reanimated Rinnegan but his real ones are still around. You will find out more on how that all happens, but like Tobi said. He gave Nagato the Rinnegan.

I mean it's not important since that first Rinnegan is just an animation mistake.

It's not like that person was trying to post spoilers. lol That said, you're clearly supposed to be confused. Who is Tobi? How does Tobi and Madara both have Rinnegan? Animation Staff breakdown I haven’t done this in a while but this is a special occasion. I’ll keep it brief :) The animation director for this episode was Hiroyuki Yamashita; his debut for directing on shippuden. But don’t be mistaken; Yamashita is a GOD in the animation industry and even offered many cuts of animation for this episode. Yamashita had provided key animation for Kakashi vs Hidan (ep. 85), Kakashi and Obito vs The stone ninja, Killer bee vs Sasuke etc etc. Studio Pierrot and Yamashita, although struggling with a hectic production scheduled managed to deliver one of the best animated and directed episode of the series. They bought all the S rank animators for this episodes! The likes of Naoki Kobayashi who animated Madara’s fire style scene, and Madara’s sword scene in the smoke, Fujisawa, Kobayashi (if I was to name all of the and what they did and have done we’ll be reading this post for years) P.S The person who animated the start of the Lee vs Gaara (the person you are probably referring to) is Norio Matsumoto, basically a legend of the animation industry responsible for the best cuts of animation in original naruto imo (episode 133 when Naruto punching Sasuke, lifting him off the water). However he’s not on this episode though :)

I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but the Rinnegan appearing when Mickey first noticed it was actually an animation error, the reveal was supposed to be when Naruto throws the Rasenshuriken at him. Everyone was kinda hoping none of you would see it haha, it's not that big of a deal though

I never thought, when watching "Naruto", Kabuto would be an agent of chaos at the level we're seeing in "Shippuden". He's come a long way since Team 7 met him and inquired about his cards. Kabuto has one of the best character arcs in the Narutoverse, imo.

Okay to Add a little clarification for the normies. There are still only one pair of rinnegan eyes, it’s just that reanimated shinobi when reanimated have all their powers they previously had before they died cause that’s how reanimating works. Ps- one side note is that reanimated shinobi have unlimited chakra so they can do what they want at will technically without any consequences of becoming exhausted. That’s why madara is also stronger in context then when he originally died from back in his “glory days”. Having the rinnegan and Hashirama cells combined with unlimited Chakra and also being reanimated and can also be revived instantly he can pretty much do whatever he wants, that’s why he made everything look so easy esp with the two meteorites. But don’t let that fool you tho, madara alive without being reanimated is still almost just about as strong and could still solo all those shinobi if he wanted to even without the Hashirama cells and the rinnegan as seen in some of this fight before he awakened it. Just not as extreme I’d say as he did this episode but still. Madara is just savage like dat 😎😎 Hopefully that saved some confusion for you guys 🙃 (Like so the normies can see this)

As incredible and classic as this episode is, Micky and Rana are right. There are actually 2 instances before that attack from Naruto where animators mistakenly slapped Rinnegan in there early. Ironic one of the biggest continuity errors as far as plot in this series came from one of it’s most legendary episodes/power reveals.

they never really explained it but Madara used the Tendo power of the Rinnegan to use Universal Pull to drag a meteor from the atmosphere. Also, the reanimation Madara has a Rinnegan created through the Reanimation, it's not real and thus does not have all the powers of the Rinnegan. It has the basic 6 Pain Powers. There is only ONE pair of REAL Rinnegan eyes, currently Tobi has 1 eye and the other is still in Nagato's body.
