He's still a child, so letting him make the decision to kill people ... who knows how that would scar him. Whether it was possible or not, Reigen's stance, as the responsible adult - and the one who understands how emotionally vulnerable Mob is - is that Mob and the other two children should try to run away before ever deciding to fight head to head with deranged adults. Knowing what he knows about Mob, I can't fault Reigen. And you guys failed the test 😛 but so do 90% of people: seeing a shy child embrace murderous intent is not a cheer-worthy moment 😅

And he still cares about Mob and gives him decent advice. He has his own flaws. But it's an obvious setup for growth since something like this doesn't even feel like it could last forever. lol

Because afterwards Mob would've hated himself even more because we already saw in previous episodes that Mob is insecure and even afraid of himself of what might happen if he lose control. And with how powerful Mob is they could've easily escaped/run away. Reigen is the MVP support of this show, can't wait for next episode. And to Rana, yes, essentially Reigen gives you what you need not what you want, so con artist or not he doesn't scam people.
