Why do you support The Normies on Patreon?

I am here for Naruto and Clone Wars. You just got to two arcs in those shows I don't want to wait for so I became a patron.

It's not that bad and if they do it like they did Naruto with like 6 episodes a week the pacing won't be much of a issue and as much as I love Naruto nobody that watched both can say that one at least story wise but Naruto dub is much better

I basically try to be patient and watch everything on youtube, but sometimes I know a certain episode is coming so I'll become a patreon just to watch it immediately (since you're ahead a few weeks).

I agree it's worth it but I doubt they'll ever do it. The thing is that, for example, Naruto has fillers which they can just skip, the canon episodes have good pace, for the most part. Same doesn't apply to One Piece though, at least in the later seasons, the story is so good but the pace is really slow. I mean, it's 'Orochimaru's two fingers pushing the sword into the Third Hokage' slow.

I come and go based on what You’re offering at a given time and how good those eps are. I try to only do one patreon a month. I cancelled Blind Wave to do the Normies, cancelled thst for RTTV, cancelled that to come back to the Normies. (Just because I subscribe to 7 or 8 streaming services and it’s hard to justify adding a bunch of extra subscriptions to see a video or two)

It's more the reactors than the content they're reacting too, I enjoy anime as well as the live-action stuff, but there's plenty of channels doing these kind of videos now. Aside from Blindwave and JamesvsCinema, I think you guys have the best post-show analysis and general banter. It's just a shame you're so focused on what brings in views and makes you the most amount of money, as opposed to just enjoying reacting to things and sharing youropinions and theories with fans because you ENJOY it.

Anime is the short answer, but there are a ton of people reacting to anime these days and only a few whose reactions I tune in for. I like the general atmosphere and attitude you guys provide. I like how many different perspectives there are in your group. I know I've seen people complaining about uploads getting delayed recently, but I find your reactions to be worth the wait. (I certainly don't always have time to watch them the second or even the day they come out, so it's not a huge deal to me.) I can't imagine trying to coordinate so many different people getting together to react to so many different shows each week, especially with the covid craziness, so I've really come to appreciation the dedication these last few years too.

So far, Good Place, Bojack Horseman (third way through) and Lost (which I enjoyed so much I literally binged on those like I was watching the series again--I watched it all in less than a week, including playing a little bit "hookey" at work from my home office (due to ongoing pandemic)--watching one Nikki screaming "what the hell is going on" in between projects-- which I consider symbolic considering some of the issues that sometimes comes up at work :) ) and also watched more in general.
