The best reasons I can think of for Oz's lies is a matter of maintaining the will to fight. Salem is immortal and far more powerful than any other living person so cheap work around like burying her alive or imobilizing her after decapitation aren't going to work on her. Coupled with the fact that learning the truth will likely cause situations like Leo, and Raven or just leave enough inner turmoil for people questioning the point while Salem is very actively trying to destroy the world. Plus any group that learns the truth will likely summon the Grim and get wiped out. A not so positive parallel example in real time would be to look at the US invasion of Afghanistan. We started off with our patriotic war ferver after 9-11 and the will to maintain steadily decreased over time. Lo and behold 20 years later it comes out publicly that no one had ANY idea of what they were doing or how to even win (although I'd like to think more people knew that from the beginning). Same kinda concept except we obviously didn't have a fairytale supervillian antagonizing us

To say something about why they reacted the way they did, it's because they felt this whole time that there was a solution to the problem, that Oz was leading them to save everyone by disposing of Salem. By finding out not only that she can't be destroyed, but also that after all these years, he doesn't have a plan by his own admission, it hits hard. This also extends to Pyrrha's choices. She jumped to the wagon immediatly not only because of her personality but because she thought Oz knew what he was doing. From a perspective, this could be seen as an Impossible war, cause there's no defeating Salem. So you can start understanding some of the things Raven said to Yang and in general. From their perspective, they put their lives in the line for a cause that is not what they thought, because of what they've learnt. And Oz doesn't have a plan (keeping the relics safe and away from her is stalling but doesn't solve the issue). Anyways, that why I think they reacted the way they did.

Because they were all going to the same place anyways. Oz went to protect Haven and couldn’t so he’s taking the relic to Atlas. He’s got no plan but a lot is on his shoulders. Cut the guy some slack. If you listened to his backstory, he was called a pure hearted hero. He died and was tortured being brought back to life and killed and brought back again but only for the purpose of taken on this burden he didn’t ask for and to coexist in a world where his lover was corrupted, because they fucked around with her heart instead of just letting her kill herself (they didn’t want to bring him back to life at first but in the end they did it anyways… so creating this situation for him to deal with and then sentencing him to deal with it put a lot of stress on him. If he makes mistakes, he of all people should be forgiven for it. He already died. He has no reason to be here except to help everyone else and they want to abuse him as soon as they find out the truth? Then fuck them. They aren’t exactly convincing him that he should have trusted them. Their reactions are at least semi-reasonable but they didn’t even have an inkling of understanding. So yeah… that’s my case for Ozpin. lol

We are "paying" money for a service no matter what you called it, that's not "entitlement", Youtube is free, patreon is not. the service is for 1. early access, and 2. uncut reaction 3. patreon exclusive. The later you can't even get on youtube,. this is not free. 5 dollars is meal there people world don't even have that. It's donating because there's no extra effort. They're going to upload the videos regardless. They record in advance anyway. We just get to peek inside. We're not paying for anything to be created. Literally just saying we appreciate what they do and we get head pats for it. But these people overreact because somehow watching people watch things slightly earlier than everyone else entitles them to act like children. The crazy part is this patreon has dozens of series. So much content for as little as 5 dollars and people are going nuclear over a little blocked video as if every content creator on youtube doesn't deal with this. I get what your saying people shouldn't be too upset things happens and there are delays, Sometimes people go the store and what they want it isn't there, that's life. @Temperistic They're okay with reactions. They're not okay with unchanged reuploads. They will use YouTube automated system to block reuploads, but sometimes reactions will get caught up as well. This is why they will unblock the reactions after they have been contacted. This usually doesn't happen over the weekend, as there is no one working at RT then.

Yeah, a few reactors have fallen into this issue. Rooster Teeth love reactors, but still need to protect their IP. So they have copyright claim on the episodes themselves to prevent channels from just straight up stealing and uploading them, which unfortunately has the side effect of YouTube auto flagging reactions sometimes even when RT doesn't pursue themselves. Should get cleared up fairly quick though, just sucks in the meantime. And yeah, anyone down voting the video are just idiots.

They're already on vol six and we're waiting on vol 9 so they're not too far off and will probably be at least approaching vol 8 by the time we get 9. That's the thing. Whenever the public material (i.e. Chapters already out after First members) get released, it's usually not RT who block them but YouTube themselves. It was a huge problem when V5 was coming out.
