I think this ep is also lame.That's literally the guy who orochimaru, Jiraiya and Tsunade could not beat when they were younger. Yes Jiraiya did not have Sage mode at that time and Orochimaru and Tsunade were also not epic strong, but even then they already were Kage level and this guy beat them ALONE and now he loses to a samurai. Absurd.

2021-11-01 15:45:56 +0000 UTCWhat really would've made the episode a 10/10 is if they showed The Sannin and what they are now when Hanzo said he will see where Minfune would still keep his convictions. Since Hanzo did the same thing to the Sannin and the Sannin and Hanzo are connected into lore. Even when Jiraiya was at his prime he still viewed Hanzo as one of the strongest shinobi to ever live even though Jiraiya at that time and the other Sannin surpassed him. I bet Lady Tsunade and Orochimaru still think of Hanzo and their battle with him and view him the same way Jiraiya did when he was told about Hanzo's death.

2021-10-27 20:46:42 +0000 UTCIMO, this episode really highlights the strength of Naruto's writing, and just how good it can be. The fight not that crazy or anything but still. This single episode took characters I barely knew anything about, one of them I didn't even like at all because of what I did know about them, and the other I didn't care about. By the end I just had such respect for both, and actually cared about them. That is impressive. This is honestly one of my favorite episodes in the War Arc.
