[Uncut] My Hero Academia - 5x21 - Revival Party

My Villain Academia is LIT FAM!

Comments

ReDestro is a descendant of Destro but not his sun. Destro was alive when all for one was little. (200 years ago)

Zemillion

Here's a great reference of the character tropes "-dere" (Yandere, Tsundere, Kuudere, etc.) https://myotakuworld.com/tsundere-yandere-kuudere-yangire-dandere/

FrancisPianist

Its like we're the same

MojoJojoGojo

Yeah same. They're a lot less interesting then many of the other villains we've seen like Stain, Chisaki, All For One yet they get more screen time despite not being as compelling.

Max

Alter ego 1: TWICE is the best villain of the arc! Alter ego 2: thumbs down, that guy sucks

Dominic Caciappo

It's like we're same person Gojo, I would say every single word you said.

PR98

My favorite villain is Suraj for not liking this banger of an intro

But not Often

Code geass hype. I wonder who’s in the reaction

Sonicluis

all for one

I never cared too much for the league of villains throught the series I'll be honest...like re destro said without the Nomus they're just a social group...which was accurate I was more concerned of Nomus than TLOV...hate that it took 5 seasons for me to enjoy each character..never understood why people obsessed with Togas insane self but this episode I see it now lol Dabi, and Twice have always been cool to me

MojoJojoGojo

For the giveaway: Might be a generic answer but I personally think Shigaraki is the best villain with the most potential

Valkyro

Toga!!!!! She was so awesome this ep!

MHA is all about nuance. Horikoshi takes a simple premise and a genuine love for heroes, comic book and otherwise, the same love humanity has for them stretching back to Greek mythology, and truly deep dives what it means to be a hero. All aspects of that. What makes a hero beyond ability, does a hero always have to win to be considered a hero, does good outweigh bad on some cosmic scale, who protects the heroes hurting or being shunned, the flip side of heroes being villains and what makes them different, does society need heroes to function or is it overall detrimental, is it possible to be a hero and not sacrifice those close to you and is that still heroic, etc. Horikoshi shines when his story asks simple questions that have difficult answers, and the manga has only gotten better and better with that. If people don’t like the shounen aspects, that’s fine, but they’re missing a lot of empathy rich material in between.

yep there is nothing special about this show. it's the most generic shonen show in awhile. hero vs villians, good vs bad, rival friends, people with special powers, and many more clichés. but thats why we like it - it's doing the most basic aspects and making it good/exciting. while other animes out there are overcomplicating the plot, MHA is just keeping it simple. just enjoy it and have fun. P.S no one is saying this is a perfect anime :)

Imagine calling something overrated while having a Naruto pic as an avatar

edgard

the sound was really off in this one, copyright issues?

SinancoTheBest

I mean, there are 5 seasons out. if you watched it and don't get it, maybe it's not that good in your opinion. Nothing wrong with that, nothing to explain lol

Justin Neason

Bitch28 at it again

Churroguy .

whats there to understand its a shonen show about heroes and other things if you dont like it dont watch reactions

Mob K.O.

I feel to say "somethings overrated" sounds like you're getting opinions from other people and just seeing what others say about it all the time...enjoy the show and see the ride for yourself without people easily swaying you

MojoJojoGojo

Somebody help me understand

Bliss 28

This show is mad overrated. I honestly don't know what's special about it. I'm not even trying to troll or anything I just dont get what's so special about this show

Bliss 28
