My guess is he has at least 10 million, maybe more. Also, lawyer here. The government gets nothing in most states, including Indiana. That is just made up for the story. It goes to next of kin, but it can get really messy and sit with the court for years, even decades. It just depends how many people claim they are kin, and if they get along. Spouses first, kids next, etc.
