You guys saw that just now coz y'all watch 3 episodes in one seating. That time when it was airing people watched 1 episode a week and there were longer gaps between episodes a lot of the times so these flahsbacks helped. And the fillers were sometimes good too. They could've built side stories with the filler characters instead of dumping them after 1 or 2 episodes.

@The Normies when I saw this episode for the first time I teared up at what Naruto was saying when he said you wont be an uchiha anymore and I wont be the 9 tails anymore we'll be free of our burdens and understand each other in the after life, I'll die with you Sasuke and when he also said I don't deserve to be hokage if I can even save a friend man those lines hurt I felt that and started tearing up my God. We're into the point in the series where I almost stopped caring if Sasuke was ever redeemed. (Up until this point, I figured it was a given it would happen eventually.) Even his whole "I'm going to kill all the elders" plan I could kind of get on board with. This next-level "I'm going to kill literally everyone in the village" plan is just the epitome of arrogance. Like he's the only person to have suffered at the hands of the Leaf's government or the general state of the shinobi world. Especially when Kakashi's standing right there!!! You want to talk about people who had their whole life fucked up by the village politics and ninja lifestyle... I just can't with Sasuke anymore.

That's not the he thinks, but also, he doesn't acknowledge the fact he had bonds as a child. He focused too much on the hate n neglect he faced from the village that he forgets Shikamaru and Choji always accepted him for him. He neglects the fact that from DAY 1 Sauske had his own path n was willing to do anything n use anyone to reach it. Sauske misleads Naruto with the "you're my best friend" talk because he thought that's what Naruto needed to be due to Itatchi's "kill your best friend" mission he gave him. Naruto only sees his viewpoint and even though he says he understands Sauske at this point, he's still reacting in a selfish naive way of thinking. "How can I be hokage if I cant save a single friend?" That rhetoric as we know it becomes flawed (protecting spoilers) lol

Yall memories is abit tapped. Madara HELPED Itachi Murder the UCHIHA clan. Itachi couldn’t do it by himself as a matter of fact he killed all of the UCHIHA in their sleep besides his parents. Madara took care of the police force. Madara & Danzo have absolutely no connection. Remember Madara was pissed when he realised Orochimaru helped Danzo fuse Hashirama Cells with Sharingan Eyes

Guys, c'mon. You can't complain about too many flashbacks and keep forgetting key points in the story. We've known since Sasuke and Itachi's fight that Itachi recruited Madara to help him murder the rest of the clan. Both Itachi and Madara admitted as much to Sasuke during that arc and we saw visual confirmation. If you have sharingan eyes going blind from mangekyo, you can only transplant certain other pairs to reinvigorate them while retaining your original eyes' abilities (ie: family members, siblings). This is called the "Eternal" Mangekyo Sharingan or "EMS". All the village heads knew about the Uchiha coup and were considering a preliminary strike on them. Itachi knew this and took the initiative by striking first with the consent of Danzo and Sarutobi. He's not the type to be ordered around into doing something like this lightly or manipulated. He did it because he believed it to be the best way to maintain peace and the reputation of both the village and the Uchiha.

Naruto literally sounds like a broken record and has been saying the same thing over and over again. I’m sorry but every time Naruto talks to sasuke I can’t roll my eyes hard enough.

Don’t know if anyone’s pointed it out yet, but remember when an Uchiha puts someone’s else’s eyes in they get the Eternal Mangekyo, meaning that Uchiha will never go blind from overuse. This is what Madara did with his younger brother. He doesn’t need to keep refilling his eyes once they go blind. This would also mean that once Sasuke gets Itachi’s eyes, he too will have eternal mangekyo. All of this was said awhile back but it’s easy to forget.

To be fair, they aren't the only ones. Everyone who complained about Sakura completely forget her entire story arc is about her a sensory type (meaning not suited for battle) trying to become a battle type ninja. Man normies can never complain about flashbacks they forget so much. Itachi told Sasuke at their fight that Madara aided him in the Massacre. Also, even though he hasn't said Kamui much in the series they should have been able to infer what it was lol, Kakashi has used only one move with his Mangekyo Sharingan and it drains him which is why he said sakura watch over me.

Okay guys I was hoping you'd catch on but I think it needs to be said. Yes Kakashi has the Mangekyo Sharigan. We've known that since the Gaara rescue arc when Kakashi and Naruto fought Deidara. Remember when Deidara was flying off and Kakashi tore off his arm by using the Mangekyo to put it into another dimension? That name of that technique is Kamui. He also used it to stop deidara's explosion from hurting him and the other leaf shinobi. He also used the Kamui during his fight with Pain. When he sent the needle to another dimension as well as the rocket that was going after Chouji. Also Project Tsuki No Me is the name of the plan that Madara has. It literally means 'Moon Eye' plan. The actual technique as Suraj pointed out is called the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

I'd stick around for the discussion more if you didn't already have a discussion over the episodes so much instead of watching the damn thing and reacting. lol And even more so if the discussions weren't as long as the reactions. Tobi's part in the massacre was explained by Itachi and Tobi. As for the friend and family bond that depends on how well u get on with ur family, if u have a great relationship most people will cherish family bond to friendship bond. Sasuke adored Itachi and had a relatively good relatively good relationship with his parents. Moreover, part of the reason Naruto losing Jiraya didn't lead him towards revenge was due Pain seeking JUSTICE for what the leaf did, he could understand why pain destroyed the leaf. Also, Jiraya sought out Pain and engaged in the fight so someone had to lose/die. Sasuke however his parents and clan were slaughtered and brother used to commit the slaughter for no good reason therefore he's more inclined to seek revenge.

The eyes are from the uchiha massacre. Danzo had orochimaru transplant them after itachi and Tobi killed the uchiha and tobi got some too. We know what the kamui does. It transports stuff from this plane. It destroyed deidra’s arms and against pain, he removed the nail before it killed him and the missile chasing choji, all of it was kamui.

i kinda hated naruto and sasuke's relationship a lot of the time because of what it did to naruto, then scenes like the one is this episode would happen and i'd be like man...just come back the village. i don't even know why lol. like sasuke's expression when naruto said he's his friend and that smirk after got me, ngl. masashi kishimoto has a weird way of making you emotional about things you realistically should not approve of.

i think sasuke changing is kind of implied if naruto is taking him back to the leaf. like i don't think the purpose of this conversation is 'sasuke you can commit murder all you want if you come back <3'. naruto is being merciful by saying he'll kill sasuke if he attacks the leaf, but that he's still open to him changing if sasuke is capable of it.
