Subaru made a resolution to never commit suicide or to easily discard his life and that he'll fight with 'everything' he got to stay alive. The bet with Roswaal was freeing the sanctuary and saving the mansion all in this one 'loop' without dying. Also. I like how Marketa hates Roswaal now, after him used to being one of her liked characters. 😂

Note: The title of this episode is also a reference to song played at the beginning called by the same name ("STRAIGHT BET"). This song was also played in season 1 a couple of times, notably when Subaru jumped off the cliff in episode 7.
