[Premium Access] Naruto Shippuden - Episode 206 - Group Reaction (Post 1/4)

Comments

And also that she seems to come from the template of "Female on the team is the emotinal caring one, that keeps the team together, and keeps the team grounded in hard times". But that fits very poorly with the story of Naruto because those characteristics are the ways in wich Naruto is a hero, so she becomes kind of hard to fit in in a narrativly satisfying way.

Idunn Pil Søndergaard

I think the mainly comes down to her being kind of written as many other female characters in a three man team, to be the heart of the group. The caring, nuturing, incorriging emotional core of the group, that keeps the team together. Many female charaters in 3 man teams or 5 man teams are like that, and Sakura seems to come from that same template, but the problem is that works super bad for Naruto because those qualities are the defining charactaristics of Naruto the hero and main character, and Sakura can't outshine Naruto in his core characteristics, so she ends up being really hard to fit in narrativly in a satisfying way.. But you know, that is just my opinion :)

Idunn Pil Søndergaard

Sakura is just objectively one of the worst written core female characters ever in anime lol. She doesn’t have bad intentions. But she’s written like shit. It’s that simple. People can defend her all day. From the beginning to the end of naruto the second sasukes name shows up she loses anything she had going for her as a character.

This is why the virgins hate sakura

Todd Williams

Stay Glow

exactly

Athleticgamer

lol kinda but obsession much

Athleticgamer

@The Normies AHHHHH YESSSSS this episode with Sakura doing stupid shit but anyway lol other than that good episode can't wait for you to see the rest your reaction to this was hilarious!!!!

Athleticgamer

This is why i fucking hate sakura

Zen Reacts

still love sakura! honestly this was less cringey in the manga but the anime yikes! The anime is nothing compared to the manga.

Sonia Sanches

cable management much guys ? :D

Georgi Ivanov Stoyanov

Mickey had me dying when he said "That's a bold strategy Cotton" Dodgeball references never get old

dannydarko27

Never did buy the whole Sakura confession thing, but she dose care for him, just not in a romantic sense. Also I think this was to release Naruto for the promise, which she thought was causing him pain, but Naruto's mission to bring Sasuke back is much bigger than just fulling the promise he made to Sakura, the promise is only a small part in Naruto's reasoning for bring Sasuke back. Also let's be real here this is Naruto we are talking about, he never goes back on his word.

Naruto: "I hate people who lie to themselves!" Also Naruto: "Sasuke is my best friend and it's definitely not a one way street"

KevinFromNewYork

finally time for what in my opinion is one of the best but also deepest and most emotional shippuden opening song/videos

Vic Valentine

Sakura here is doing 2 things. She's trying to get Naruto to give up on the promise he made her because now it's really hurting him because of what Sasuke has become. Also she is lying to herself, because she's thinking she's supposed to feel this way for Naruto because he is the hero of the Leaf, and Sasuke is one of the most wanted people in the world. But she still loves Sasuke. The problem her as a character, is Sakura's love for Sasuke has never been developed in a believable way that you'd buy her loving Sasuke this much.

Cory Hawks

Kishi always emitted he didn't know how to write female characters. Sakura's fixes as character could have easily been done, but here's the biggest thing is other than Naruto and Sasuke during this time in the series no other characters mattered.

Cory Hawks

Okay but this is a realistic scene, she loves Sasuke so much that she is willing to save him. Yeah it is frustrating I get that but I've seen things like this happen irl.

symbolic amaterasu

idk this seemed more grounded in realism. (jokes)

IKIGAI

maan why you gotta play with my boys emotions like that!

IKIGAI

After this episode I joined the hate train, before that I gave her the benefit of the doubt

dannydarko27

Agreed. She serves as an example on how NOT to write a female character.

Sarvesh Nathan

lmao the post discussion was hilarious

chuahsang

1. You're supposed hate Sakura this episode 2. The Tsuchikage is 79

Otaku27

Can you people stop saying "no matter how you spin it she was in the wrong", because nobody is trying to say that what she did was right. You want to talk about how she's trash because of that, okay let's view some other characters. Jiraiya is straight up garbage because he continuously spied on half naked woman, sexually harassing' them in the process. On several occasions he showed that he preferred Naruto when he was using Sexy Jutsu. Jiraiya also made an off comment about Konan when she was young and he was raising her. It all boils down to a Toxic personality, but I guess it's okay because he's a cool character?

Dayvon Rose

They'll never know pain

KimKaiRen

They take the intro way too seriously

KimKaiRen

But newer anime are doing a much better job with female characters. Continue on with Jujutsu Kaisen. There's great writing so far 👌 👍 👏

KimKaiRen

Ah yes. The biggest example of how the mangaka is just terrible with developing female characters. I honestly didn't care much at the time bc shounen was suppose to be boys anime. And shojou back then was mostly magical girl anime. So yeah my bar was low. But rewatching as an adult is cringe.

KimKaiRen

Please Rana never rap again lol

Jinskii

People always try to defend this scene but honestly, no matter how you look at it, Sakura was manipulating Naruto and using his so-called "feelings" for her to do so, if someone is your friend that you truly care about, you DON'T play with their feelings like this, plain and simple. There is no excuse, and this isn't the first time she has tried to use his "feelings" for her to try and manipulate him (remember when she told him she would go on a date with him just so she can try and explain Sasuke's attitude toward Naruto to Naruto). THIS is the type of Toxic personality that she has ALWAYS had, which no matter how you try and spin it Sakura was in the wrong and straight trash for this.

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

I don't care what anyone says, I will defend Sakura's character. Funnily enough, this was the episode I actually began to really like her character. Telling Naruto that was certainly wrong. Bad place and a worse time, but I think there's more to it than just that. Naruto had it spot on and I truly believe this, she was lying to herself more than she was to him. I think she's had feelings for Naruto for a while, maybe she never realised it properly or mistook their intimate comradary with something else. But I know that deep down she knows her feelings for Sasuke are toxic and sometimes you can't stop those feelings, that's just how it is. Her meeting Naruto here and confessing is her accepting that and making an attempt to move on. I've been in a similar situation. She's in a hyper-emotional state right now and doesn't know what to think, but I believe to an extent her feelings for Naruto are real.

Ex0dus

Here's the thing though: Sakura *does* love Naruto. They grew up together, trained together, they're friends and teammates. But she's not *in* love with Naruto, and Naruto was quick to shut that shit down because he *knows* Sakura is and always has been *in love* with Sasuke. She should've just been straight up with Naruto, no one ever gives him enough credit for his mental endurance.

iJashin

Exactly. He was too busy lmaoing he missed it 🤣. Naruto literally explains himself a second after

IBOXATNIGHT23

Also Suraj I think you misinterpreted that situation 😅 When Naruto said why he thinks he better understands why Sasuke feels the way he does, it was definitely not because of what Sakura said to him. He was referring to the info that Madara gave him regarding Itachi. I knew the reaction to this episode was going to be a good one :) See you next week!

Suraj rushing through Discord as the intro plays to see if they can watch it...... Because everyone forgot that they can pause, check, and then play. lmao What about the timed schedule though!???....... Talk less at the end. :U lol

Michael Diaz

Not really. He went full 9tails for Hinata.

Kitsune

I hate her in that scene, specifically, every single time. I love her the rest of the time. But that scene is worth a bitchslapping

Kitsune

I legit was gonna skip the whole ep but I liked the introduction of kisame so just fast forwarded to it

Abdul Manneh

This episode really made me not like Sakura

Drew Keys

I think some of you in the comments don't realize the magnitude of the pressure Naruto is under. He's carrying Nagato's and Jiraiya's will to bring peace. And after Madara explained to him the truth about Itachi and the story of the 2 sons of the six paths (Uchiha and Senju bloodlines), he understands that the solution to this whole Sasuke situation isn't going to be resolved simply by having him killed. Yes, Naruto deeply cares about Sasuke, but it's so much more than that. He understands the cycle of hatred.

Sakura is one of the worst character and she cringe everybody else is good Great Character for everybody else

Mackendie

DO YOU KNOW PAIN!?!?!?

Obsessive Fanatic

“I’ll remember this forever Sakura. No matter where you character goes, this was your best moment.” - Suraj 2020

Obsessive Fanatic

Why would anyone be?

Dayvon Rose

Except if you paid attention to Naruto's character, he would've done this for any of his close friends, yall just push it because it's something yall secretly want to see lol Especially Chris seems like he's into that boy on boy with how hard he keeps pining for it lol

Shyakugaun

Is everyone finally on the "fuck Sakura" train?

Sunvue

I crack up every time at Chris dying a little inside when Bee rhythms.

Arimpact

Then he snitches on her and acts like he has no clue what’s going on in her head. F Sai

ChiGuy2019

No one ever thinks of giving some of the blame to Sai who literally convinced Sakura she is ruining Naruto’s life.

logan

Okay you say that but you don't mention Naruto's devotion? If you actually know the series, you'd know that Naruto wouldn't listen and wouldn't just not go after him. I'm going to need you to have that same energy for him. Not only did he take a beating for Sasuke but he literally got on his hands and knees for him...

Dayvon Rose

literally could of just said yo stop looking for that punk ass instead of being such a manipulating asshole lol that devotion to sasuke is the dumbest part in this entire anime imo. sakura's logic: damm he tried to slice me in half but he hot though lol

jose giron

After thinking about it some more, it's hilarious that people are so bent over a 15-16 year old lying about her feelings to protect someone. Like I just can't help but see people calling a teenager a bitch and trash for doing something stupid.

Dayvon Rose

You guys are dumb

Matthew Cronin

Still never get the anger for this moment. Sure, I was a little surprised when I first read it (I kept up with the manga) but like, I moved on? The one thing that this moment did make me realize though and what I think Kishimoto was trying to get at is Naruto and Sakura are actually really close and know each other well enough to say what they said. Sure, Sakura's tactic here wasn't the right call but her intentions were good; she wanted to take on some of the burden from her friend. While there definitely wasn't any romantic love involved, the platonic love was evident. And that list she spilled? Of wanting him to go back to the village and think about himself for once? Those were honest words. Also, at least she didn't use the 'heavier' I love you. She used the light one. There's a difference between 'suki', 'daisuki' and 'aishiteru'. If she had said 'aishiteru', then maybe this would have been a problem but she used 'suki', which is literally just "like".

botanbutton

I hate Sakura she is the worst example for girls everywhere

Ab$tract A$p

Jesus the guys talked to much in this vid👎🏽

Charlie Fyb

Yooo, yall made it worth watching this episode! Episode was so cringe, but I was Cracking tf up 😭😭

BS

Whatever, still a bitch.

Sarvesh Nathan

Chris reaction to every time Bee is rapping or one of the normies tries 🤣🤣

carlos banegas

Too many people bitter cuz Sakura reminds them of that girl who played with their feelings in 7th grade

ChiGuy2019

Am I the only person who, when this episode aired, just went on about my day normally? Like, what Sakura did wasn't even 1/100000 as bad as the fandom made it out to be and apparently from these comments continue to make it out to be. Sasuke is literally murdering people two episodes before and they make excuses meanwhile, Naruto is performing apologia for genocidal authoritarian leaders who led to the capture and murder of hundreds but Sakura tells a lie and it's the end of the world? It never made sense to me, but that's the thing with fandom. Emotions over logic.

Rahneian Madsgs

It's a weird choice I guess? But I don't get why people always get their panties in a bunch over this episode or what Sakura did. She lied to Naruto to get him to forget about Sasuke? Big deal. Meanwhile Sasuke is killing everybody and everything and has been evil for the majority of the entire series and people make excuses.

Rahneian Madsgs

Naruto is one of my absolute favorite shows ever. That being said, it's not perfect. It has a couple of issues that I recognize but most I'm able to push to the side and say oh well who cares this show is amazing. This is probably my least favorite episode of the show tbh. I just don't understand this Sakura choice by Kishimoto. I'd love for a Sakura fan to explain it better to me. I am by no means a Sakura hater (I actually kind of like her character) but I HATE this part of her story. I'm willing to change my position on this if someone can convince me

Scrimshaw

I'm just gonna pretend I didn't hear that last thing Runa said. That's too much man.

Ruben Lopez

This Sakura turn is just one of many idiotic narrative decisions Kishimoto makes in the latter portion of this series. Your disappointment will be immeasurable. But if you lower your expectations, you should be fine Normies. Maybe... lol

Kamina 1

But nobody is saying "I like Sakura no matter what she did", people are acknowledging what she did as wrong but also bringing to light how much hate she gets for this one occurrence. A lot of the people here are Naruto Stans, they pass off his flaws and obsession with Sasuke as a jokes and get upset if someone actually breaks down how bad that is. Saying you hate Sakura's character for this one scene and calling her a bitch isn't giving critique.

Dayvon Rose

You got that backwards. Stans like characters no matter what. Sakura supporters are more like stans. Fans give critique and dont ignore bad characters

Marquist Simms

Not really fans more like "stans" because most fans have common sense to not dislike a character for one singular moment. Otherwise I can point out a multitude of moments from each Naruto character that should make them completely unlikable.

Dayvon Rose

Exactly, everyone is fine with Itachi killing his entire clan (Elders and children included), Sasuke becoming a fugitive, Nagato murdering the Leaf, etc because they have sad backstories and struggles that they (The male viewer) can relate to. If you even think about trying to sympathize with Sakura you're a "simp" which makes 0 sense considering that anyone who tries sympathizing isn't saying she's not at fault or did something right. People will love talking about how Kishimoto wrote a masterpiece and how Naruto taught many lessons and continue to stray away from said lessons they learned when it doesn't involve "Their boys".

Dayvon Rose

I think a lot of fans hate Sakura mostly for this moment right here lol

Nicholas Ortiz

My biggest issue in this episode isn't even the dumb shit Sakura pulls, It's that Naruto is still dumb enough to think she's lying to "herself". Bruh she's not lying to herself she's straight up lying to only you. She knew from beginning to end that wasn't true and she just wanted to dissolve that promise in the most nonsensical way possible. At no point did she actually have a romantic feelings towards him or confuse any feelings she had towards him for one. I'm glad Naruto at least called her out but damn.

Benjamin Donahue

Yeah, for a show that sets out to show how people get drowned in their emotions, honors, responsibilities which leads to a lot of stupid shit, a little bit too much of Naruto fandom outright disrespect other people\character inner worlds and situations, imperfect as they are.

Paul Pesheev

Sakura was out here with her cappin no jutsu. Our boy Naruto was out here on his Future shit and sending her back to the streets.

Sheikh Ashmaan

True! But he has to get used to it because we gonna see him for much more!

Kevin Kovacs

The day everyone started hating Sakura.

Christopher Charles

Chris has the best theories!

Settsu

Okay can we just collectively agree to not call Sakura out of her name and using the term "Bitch" because some of y'all are taking this way too seriously. Throwing around "Bitch" and "Sakura Simps" just because people don't want to hate Sakura as much as you is immature. We can all have our own opinions without being hateful and spiteful.

Dayvon Rose

Yo I want Mickys shirt

Erick Adame

THANK YOU!

Sarvesh Nathan

And the Sakura simps continue to simp. What she did here is inexcusable. She could have just came out and said "Hey, Naruto. Forget the promise you made when we were kids, I'm done with Sasuke." But NO, she went out and decided to lie about her reasons and decided to play with a man's feelings like a manipulative bitch. It doesn't matter what the motivations, if you tell someone that you love them, you better actually love them. Simps talking about how this is all "growth" for Sakura, but this is genuinely a step down for her. Sure, she tried to get over her feelings for Sasuke, but she did it in a way that would hurt Naruto in the long run. You ever been in a relationship with someone that had no real feelings for you, but had feelings for someone else? That's the kind of relationship they would have had. To quote Genie: "Tell. Her. The. Truth."

Miasimon

Listen love or hate Sakura whatever...this writing for her character still lacks hard.. and it sucks here!

MojoJojoGojo

Hahaha

MojoJojoGojo

Chris has to listen to Kendrick Lamar immediately after every time they watch Killer Bee 😂

Shervell Jones

This is the most cringe episode in the whole anime history lol

Sixthfinger

Lmao no, Naruto had long since accepted that Sakura doesn't love him romantically. His crush on her was mild, nothing more. Not like Sakura's obsession with Sasuke.

Sarvesh Nathan

As we saw later, she never let go of her feelings, making all this confession bullshit nonsense, and making Sakura to be nothing but a hypocrite. If you're proud of a woman playing with a man's feelings then you're sick.

Sarvesh Nathan

Sakura...simps? what are you talking about...those don't exist.

Dominic Caciappo

Everyone likes to hate Sakura after this scene, but it honestly would have worked had Naruto not fought Nagato/Pain and been told the truth by Madara. She made a decision based off an older and less wisened Naruto

Shameless

Who else came to comments first to see how all the Sakura simps try and defend her actions this week?

Max

To be honest, this is the proudest I’ve ever been of Sakura. What she does here is super fucked up, but her motivations are telling. Sai has convinced her that she has effectively ruined Naruto’s life by forcing him to chase after Sasuke (her understanding of Naruto’s own relationship with Sasuke is faulty here), and she decides she has to fix it. She goes to Naruto, and knowing full well that he’s always loved her, decides to pretend to feel the same, and basically walk off into the sunset and leave Sasuke in the past in order to protect Naruto from her “curse”. And while the moment is one of the darkest between the two of them in the series, it’s also the moment where it’s most evident just how close they’ve become. Sakura doesn’t feel the same way about Naruto as he does about her, but she’s fully motivated by her friendship with him in this scene. What she’s doing, she’s doing for HIM. It’s a moment that shows that Naruto has really become family to her, and even more than that, someone she is willing to prioritize over Sasuke, which is frankly something she’s never done before for anyone in her life. Meanwhile, Naruto immediately sees through it, and is willing to tell her off for the first time in his. They really know each other, through and through, and despite the horribleness of the situation, there’s something a little heartwarming about it, because it’s obvious that these two people are truly bonded for life. It’s the moment where Sakura finally chooses her friendship with Naruto over her feelings for Sasuke, and where Naruto proves he knows Sakura well enough to refuse to be a consolation prize. I couldn't be prouder of both of them.

Luke Wilson

They're close friends? Right because close friends lie to each other about serious matters. As we see in later episodes, Sakura couldn't bring herself to kill Sasuke, making her nothing but a dishonest hypocrite for getting Naruto to give up on him. There is nothing stopping her from being straightforward to Naruto. He deserves the truth. People are 100% right to hate her in this scene.

Sarvesh Nathan

OK. Pretty much every first time watcher hates Sakura after this scene because they’re so wound-up in shipping wars that they’re not thinking about the characters. Sakura has clearly been grappling with her emotions over the course of Shippuden, and she’s been growing closer to Naruto ever since he came back to the village. She doesn’t KNOW how she feels, but understands that she can’t love Sasuke because of the person he’s become now. With that logic, she wants to confess her feelings to Naruto to both, A. Make sure he comes back to the village and doesn’t get hurt chasing Sasuke, and B. Prove to HERSELF that she loves him. It’s not a great plan, but the Leaf village peeps have their backs against the wall at this point. The organization Sasuke’s a part of just nuked one of the five great villages, and he kidnapped the Raikage’s brother and attacked a Ninja United Nations meeting. Sakura has to act now, and can’t delay before Sasuke or the Akatsuki do even more damage. Yamato reacts the way he does because if you remember, he was about to call out Sakura for having feelings for Naruto right before he woke up after the fight against Orochimaru at Tenchi Bridge. Yamato knows Sakura likes Naruto, but because of that he also knows that this confession is all wrong. All this to say, Sakura made her confession because in her mind, she was ready to put Sasuke in the past and go home to the village with Naruto. Naruto rebuffed her because he can’t give up on his friend, and can’t believe she would either. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

LeafShinoB

Yamato was about to throw hands with a teenage girl for his boy. Also this is where Naruto x Sasuke makes more sense than Sakura x anyone. Naruto just rejected the girl he's always loved for Sasuke while Sakura went to kill him XD Chris and Nahid are right, at this point it's weirder for them to not get together

Solace546

Sakura's nonsense has more screen time than Tenten.

Diego R.

I actually have grown to like Sakura as a character, but this is some of Kishimoto's worst writing

MegaFreddy25- The former 3x Deadlock Patreon Champion who has RETURNED from Patreon locking my fucking subscription for a year

I don't hate Sakura but sheesh this is some cringeeee

Kanza

I'm proud of Navi for saying that. Sakura deserves it.

Sarvesh Nathan

Suraj: We’re not trying to shit on Sakura. Navi: I am. Cold blooded. 😂

Neal Cabanos

U guys legit make my day with ur Naruto reactions! Keep it up the good content⭐️💜

Alex cleveland

No it's not. She lying to Naruto to get him to give up on Sasuke.

Sarvesh Nathan

To me anybody who say things about this act of Sakura and like sasuke and his moves shouldn't really talk at all lol. She is wrong but tried something for a greater good and it didn''t work. It's not something surreal knowing what she was told by Sai in a few episodes back lol

Christophe Kanaa

I was in middle school when this chapter came out in the manga. My boys literally spent our entire lunch period roasting this bitch. Like wtf...how do you write a character this unlikeable?

TJ Major

He's stated himself that he didn't know how to write female characters. The fact that one of the favorite female characters is Hinata who is arguably a submissive type of female who is in love with the goofy lovable protagonist that doesn't pay her much attention kinda shows. In Naruto you either have Big Boob Lady, Tomboy, or Shy/obessive girl. If you're lucky you might get a combo.

Dayvon Rose

Chris crying about bee everytime is getting old.

Bob

Sakura wasn't lying to Naruto, she was lying to herself. She was really trying to convince herself that she loved Naruto. I hate that she gets hated so much because people don't understand this. Literally everything she says is genuine. And I'm normally a Sakura hater because she's useless.

Curtis

Hinata wasn't there... 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣

Kevin Kovacs

ahh the sakura BS

Alan Cooper

These kind of episodes don't make me hate Sakura, it just makes me dislike Kishimoto. His writing concerning almost any female character just doesn't work. I know it's anime, but there has to be SOME kind of realism/relatability in these type of relationships. This show has excellent themes, but it's so frustrating how he handles Sakura's character, among many others. It just feels nonsensical.

Kero20042

So playing with your friends emotions is a good thing? Got it.

Sarvesh Nathan

Bruh, in FRONT of Hinata! Sakura is literally one my least favourite characters.

Jacob

TO THE NORMIES: Ok i dont want to sound rude, but i dont understand how people dont understand basic human emotions? Sakura LIED to naruto, because SHE KNOWS that naruto loves her, so she tried to use that to make naruto not go after sasuke anymore. Its because Sai told Sakura that Naruto loves her, so Sakura realised how much PAIN her " one in a lifetime request, that naruto should bring sasuke back " has put on naruto all those years and naruto ( despite loving Sakura ) still promised her to bring the guy ( who Sakura loves) back to her, despite Naruto loving her . In Short Sakuratried to make things right... bad on not bad how she went about it ...well go ask the AUTHOR who has admitted that he is bad in developing female characters, but to be honest, i dont see anything wrong here, it makes perfect sense..... if you actually understand human emotions and have a sense of trying to makes things right if you realize that you made someone suffer . Also the reason she goes after Sasuke now, is because she wants to prove to herself that she can stop him, she doesn't want anyone else doing it. Yes its STUPID, yes SASUKE is way stronger, but humans do stupid stuff becauseo f love and because of other emotions. So again you guys try to put too much rationality on it....and don't forget they are 16 year old kids in this show. So i really dont see much wrong here...i can remember when i was 16 and oh boy did i do stupid shit because of love and i saw other people do the same.... so chill.

John Vick

Which is stupid because of all the stuff every character does but is forgiven. The entire basis of Shippuden is the main character constantly going after someone who 1) Doesn't want to return 2) Is willing to not only hurt them but their loved ones 3) Is a known fugitive who was willing to side with the organization that not only killed your other friend but is trying to go after you and destroy the world. But no let's go off on Sakura who literally had the best intentions after being guilt tripped.

Dayvon Rose

naruto really does love sasuke more than anybody else in the village lol

Peter Shim

Fr. Even Sakura was trying to take sasuke down but of course failed but she was willing to do that unlike naruto who kept trying to save him.

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

Tbh naruto stayed stupid since sasuke left. Chasing him and trying to bring him back to village when he clearly didn’t want to go back. And he joined the akatsuki and became a rogue. Atleast Sakura was trying to take him down but of course failed but she was willing to do that unlike naruto who kept trying to save him.

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

This is where all the Sakura hate comes from. Up until this Arc she was a perfectly fine character, and even after she's fine, but most people will not forgive her for this arc. I love her though.

Enkyri

You guys have to keep in mind that this all went on because of Sai's bullshit talk with Sakura where he guilt tripped her about Naruto liking her. Also you guys say she should of just told the truth but Sakura has told Naruto that he doesn't need to look after Sasuke. Just saying the Sakura hate for this is pretty ridiculous. Was it stupid? Yes but all of Team 7 is stupid this arc. Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura are all mentally at their lowest in this arc so of course they all do some dumb things along the way.

Brian Gerald Ford

Fr. It’s not that serious

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

"Rescuing Sauske is just something I have to do" 🤦🏾‍♂️ Naruto, "Rescue" would imply Sasuke was taken against his will. Last I checked, he walked out of the village, ran away from you, and beat you silly to get away from you! I hate this Naruto the most

Quinton Campbell

I will always find Sakura hate so funny. There is way more things in this anime people should be upset about than Sakura making a lapse in judgement in her attempt to help Naruto.

Dayvon Rose

I've been waiting so long for them to react to this op

Jarryd Thompson

really a let down how shikamaru was build up to take his own team and help to get sasuke on lock down... But instead we get this lol... To be fair... I never really cared for this sakura moment.. Meaning I don't have a opinion on it lol

Delix Rodgers

No, it's entirely justified. Sakura apologists are annoying.

Zack Aranda

No, real people do not act like that. Stop. That's not an argument anyways. She is objectively a terribly written character.

Zack Aranda

I completely agree

Bob

I feel like I’m the only one who thought Sakura was justified here

Kanan Jarrus

It was this moment that really made me hate Sakura. She even know how Hinata feels and still did this to Naruto, that was not cool at all.

Anthony Montero

I never hated Sakura she’s one of my favorites. And when I saw this episode. I was smiling the whole time. loved this moment.

kevin (btw i'm a girl)

suraj has been really quiet in the intro. what's on ur mind dude.

reina

🐝🐝🐝🐝Vs 🦈🦈🦈🦈

Bliss 28

Sakura hate is stupid. She didnt know how seriously naruto took that promise and when she was told she panicked. Immature people hate on her in this episode

Bob

I'm glad the whole crew was here for THIS episode beacuse I wanted to see their reaction to "that" scene!! 😅 and I have to say it's still cringy.. no matter how many times I watched it!

Kevin Kovacs

i love sakura but man kishimoto dropped the ball with her character. so much potential and we got this instead lol.

Liam D

I don't really dislike Sakura by any means but after the whole "confession" it definitely hurt her character imo and made it harder to defend her

Ivan Gamez

Oh yes the episode that we didnt know we needed

Jarryd Thompson

There's already been like 50 of those...

KevinFromNewYork

Oh it's time the fated episode. The time where all the Sakura hate was at peak multiversal levels. Let us begin

Trey Milliner-Williams

Ah yes the "I hate Sakura" episode
