The most important part of this episode is the explanation given about the Uchiha's Stone Tablet. The Stone Tablet can only be deciphered fully by the Rinnegan but the Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan can only partially unravel it. As for the Byakugan there might be a lot of plot holes here. If the Byakugan can see the Flow of the Chakra inside of a body why wouldn't it be able to discern the inscriptions on the Stone Tablet. It makes no sense at all. Also i never understood why Ao, from the Village Hidden in the Mist, who is NOT a real wielder of the Byakugan can see that Danzo has Shisui Uchiha's eye but no one from the Hyûga Clan ever noticed anything odd at all. Seriously Danzo should have been caught much earlier and certainly not by an outsider (no offence to Ao, he is a great character). And don't tell me the Hyûgas never used their visual prowess inside the village, to take a look around and see what the other clans were hiding, especially during the Uchiha's "coup d'état" debacle. With the Byakugan's range, they don't even need to be near by to see what People are doing. The flow of Chakra is like a Fingerprint, its patterns are unique to each individual, that's how Ao recognises Shisui's eye after all. The Hyûgas can spot individuals' specific locations and monitor them from afar. The Byakugan is the best tool to spy on everyone, but it was never put to good use in the Hidden Leaf Village. Not even after Itachi exterminated his clan, after all the Uchiha were the Police Force of the village. The vaccum left by the Uchiha's massacre should have propelled the Hyûgas as the next best clan, with their visual prowess, totake charge of the Police Force.
