Yeah the show ended in 2017 but the last 30 - 50 eps are essentially filler/side stories which pisses me off cuz the canonical ending was so final and the producers just said no we're still going until we reach 500 episodes cuz fuck the fanbase see we need that revenue. But please do watch the last Naruto the movie after you finish up the canonical story in Shippuden. It wraps things up, and there was never a sequel spinoff series after Shippuden, there's no cash grab, or no bs story about some burrito kid. The story's over with the last movie. K?

Guys I think you're letting people bring down the show too much for u guys by saying Pain arc was the peak of Naruto Shippuden. Y'all are still gonna love it it's still HYPE AF. Yes the pain arc is probably the best written arc and might be "peak" Naruto but later arcs are still AMAZING. Kind of sucks that people made your expectations go down so much. Sasuke is so ungrateful to his teammates and their contribution to keep him alive. He would have died so many times if it weren't for them, or Zetsu or Madara. In fact he would have died by the hand of Killer B if it weren't for his entire team. Then he got a very close call during his battle against Lady Misukage. She managed to seriously injure him by melting his Susanoo, with literaly no effort, even his skin was starting to dissolve. I like how the Misukage is calm and collected but most of all she is very versatile. She is able to use different nature transformations, Water, Fire, Earth, and even combine them to produce Lava. And of course as Kage of the Village Hidden in the Mist, she is proficient in the different Mist Techniques, like when she used the corrosive mist. Finally Lord Tsuchikage reveals some of his powers but of course Madara had to intervene. Sasuke was saved yet again, otherwise he would be dust in the wind.

I think the power that Madara holds over Sasuke's decision making is simply putting out a better argument in favor of vengeance than anything Sasuke has heard thusfar. So while it was "Sasuke's choice", when you have a master of manipulation giving one side of the story (much like mainstream media), of course his reasoning will be guided in that direction. So it really wasn't Sasuke's choice on a fair level of debate.
