If you set your standards super high because Zach Snyder’s name is attached to it, then you played yourself. But if you compare this movie to other zombie movies, that would make sense.

As i said if you weren't really paying much attention to ot then it would probably be enjoyable but if you actually watched it things bartista and helicopter girl flying off in a helicopter while zombie man was on a roof to go save his daughter yet somehow the zombie man on the horse arrives to that building before them would urk you.

But then the plot began to become so random and then everyone died because of kate and her dumb decisions. Then people having to look into it more just to justify certain aspects. like no its just not a well put together film

2021-05-29 23:45:39 +0000 UTCSnyder's shallow depth-of-field cinematography would have been interesting if it had been used judiciously, but it was employed for nearly the *entire* movie. This may have been forgivable if the plot hadn't been as shallow as the depth of field. As Red Letter Media and others have noted, it was an egregious ripoff of Aliens. Some people are claiming this was done as a "tribute" to Aliens - um, no. This was either sheer laziness or creative bankruptcy (or equal measures of both). However I have to admit that there were decent bits of fun buried in this snooze-fest, so I give it two Zombies out of five. 🧟🧟

2021-05-29 22:50:33 +0000 UTCI get the concept of ‘mindless fun’ movies… Recent examples like the first Transformers, Ready Player One, some of the Fast and Furious ficks arguably. But this… this wasn’t it. There were so many things wrong with this film, and to top it off, I’d say it was also visually Snyder’s weakest and most forgettable film to date. Given that he was the writer, director, and cinematographer, this failure is all on him.
