This is definitely the episode that started bringing my opinion of Parasyte down. The decision to confront Shimada was pure plot convenience and completely compromises what is otherwise pretty solid writing in the series thus far. And unfortunately it’s not an isolated occurrence. Braindead writing moments like the one in this episode bring a series that could’ve been a solid 9 down to like a 5 or 6 for me.
