I mean.... you didn’t pay $10 to watch this. It’s gonna be free on YouTube soon. You donated $10 to help support them making content however they want. The video is pretty unwatchable though. I have a feeling they were running late on things and trying to get everything out on time and maybe messed up on a layer of editing that pops in and out throughout the video due to some mistake made near the end. They’ll probably repost it. It’s all good.

Nothing in this is a spoiler technically since it's all opinion, but Normies may not want to read it yet. Fair warning. Interesting point bringing up his intelligence in the beginning vs justifying his actions. I think the primary reason Light is the way he is is that from the moment he verified the power of the Death Note he recognized himself as a murderer under the Law that up to that point he actually did hold sacred. Psychologically though he couldn't face himself in that regard so he used all of his intelligence absolve himself by creating a Devine law that supersedes National laws. From a writing perspective I think one actual take away of the Yotsuba arc was to demonstrate that the concept of law is actually sacred to Light and he cannot actually function without it. Kira was born as a result of Light finding himself on the wrong side of the law he worshipped and actually knowing he was wrong.

Pretty sure he's 19. When he's introduced he says "I'm almost 15" meaning he's 14 then, and then it hits us with the 5 years later, making him 19, maybe 20 max by the time of his death
